You are making a mis-connection. The Satan and his angels had influenced them who Jesus was condemning in Matthew 23:35-37. Which Jesus in other passages referred to the scribes and pharisees' father as the devil.

You believe the Vatican rules over kings and the Vatican doesn't even have a military. Yet Jerusalem, where the righteous blood of Christ was spilled has a nuclear arsenel.

He doesn't do anything. He comes out a couple times a year to say a few hair marries and dissapears the rest of the time.

Close, but not exact.

The harlot is the Vatican, RCC. Differently, Mystery Babylon the great is the mystical Kingdom of Satan and his angels, mother of harlots and abominations on the earth.

The inscription on the harlot's head - informs who is holding sway over her.

The question I give you is. Why does the beast attack Jerusalem killing its defenders and does not attack Rome in scripture?

Revelation 16:19 KJV: And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.

That and the 7 Bowls of Wrath. It happens in the whole world, and in space as a matter of fact with stars shooting down to the Earth. Christians are spared from this by the rapture. That's why I am pre-wrath.

The ten kings are ten EU leaders. For generations, for political reasons they have had to accomodate the Vatican.

When the person becomes the beast, and people begin worshiping him, the ten EU leaders will not need the Vatican anymore. And resentment for having had to accommodate the Vatican all that time will come out in the form of burning the Vatican to the ground.

You keep saying the tens horn attack the Vatican.
Revelation says they give thier power and strength to the beast and it attacks Jerusalem.

Can you tell me if those ten horns hate the Vatican so much, why are they giving all thier power to attack Jerusalem in Revelation and not the vatican?

Yes, it is to take the Jews there in Jerusalem as hostages, in Zechariah 14, at the very end of the 7 years in hopes of keeping Jesus from executing vengeance on them (including the beast and false prophet) who had martyred the great tribulation saints.
