I stumbled on this story while listening to news on headphones on youtube. When I got home I thought for sure this would be headline news worldwide, but when I went to google news...nothing. Then I search for "India" stories and still nothing. You have to search "India China" to get any information on this.
It's kind of surprising, a clash between two of the world's most powerful countries leaves dozens of soldiers dead, and you have to dig to find the headlines.

Yes the quoted part was my thoughts exactly! If you compared what people were talking about on our news shows these days, I bet it would be on some pretty venial stuff concerning protests, food company mascots being dropped etc.

Some have said that India will become the next China economy-wise. Sad to hear this news. haven't the Chinese done enough when they massacred Buddhist in the country that was the Dalai Lama's? the kind Indians let them take shelter in their country.
