The political advocacy arm of the nation’s largest abortion provider announced its endorsement of former Vice President Joe Biden in his bid to become president of the United States Monday.

“This is literally a life and death election,” said Acting President of Planned Parenthood Alexis McGill Johnson ahead of the announcement, according to NPR. “We felt like we can’t endure another four years of Trump; we have to do everything we can to get him out of office.”

It seems like they would based on his promise of Federal funding for abortion. They have the most to gain from it.

Yes and the Democratic Party platform supports abortion. Planned Parenthood and the Democrat party are inextricably intertwined.

I find that word selection and usage is interesting. She literally called this a "life and death election". Now since she is President of Planned Parenthood and speaking for them, the obvious meaning is the the life and death of the organization; but if you polled the American voters and said "Are you going to base your vote on the life and death of Planned Parenthood?" You would probably get those who have used them (a minority) saying yes and all the others saying I don't care.

So she words it and frames her arguments on a much broader issue, which is the life and death of humans. This allows Planned Parenthood to stand in the gap between the life and death of the mothers in back alley abortions and clean, safe abortions in their clinics. Rape and incest are touted as the cause of the need for abortions. They paint a picture where the woman has been denied the right of choice in the conception by being raped and ice this argument with the inevitable death of the mother if she doesn't have Planned Parenthood readily available to protect her right to chose abortion. So this side actually believes that the life and death decision that they are facing is centered solely around the mother. Gone are the eugenics of Margaret Sanger washed clean in the rhetoric of the exception proving the rule. This sort of argument only works on those who have become so narcissistic and navel-gazing that they allow whole classes of humans to be categorized as sub-human and not worthy of any right of choice. They demand that their voice be heard, while denying any voice to millions. If you are getting Holocaust images in your head right now, let me leave with a sobering thought. The Holocaust is a terrible thing, where one madman controlled a government, opposed the world and performed genocide on 6 million people. The mindset ended with his government. We have seen the death of over 61 million people in the U.S. over the span of 50 years and several governments and have most of the rest of the world condemning us for being too restrictive in our abortion laws. Where is the poster showing Planned Parenthood as the concentration camps of our times? Where is the outrage that they are not only running these death camps; but they are actually profiting greatly from it.

That is how I would frame a counter-argument to Planned Parenthood. Truly, it would be a more accurate picture than what their president framed for the gravity of this election.
