An order of succession.

Hebrews 7:25. Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
Romans 1:20. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

The following doesn't seem to apply to a human being:

Heb 7:3 He is without father or mother, without genealogy, without beginning of days or end of life, and resembling the Son of God, he remains a priest forever.

"Resembling" is not the same as being. The point is that Lord Jesus is not descended from Aaron, so He is a different order of High Priest. The epistle was written to Jews, who knew exactly what the writer meant.
