Wicked shall be destroyed
Psalms 145:20 The Lord preserveth all them that love him, but all the wicked He shall destroy
Psalms 101:8 I will early destroy all the wicked of the land, that I may cut off all wicked doers from the city of the Lord
Psalms 37:9-11 For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait on the LORD, they shall inherit the earth. For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yes, you shall diligently consider his place, and it shall not be. But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.
Proverbs 14:11, The house of the wicked shall be destroyed: but the tabernacle of the upright shall flourish.
Psalms 37:38 But the transgressors shall be destroyed together; the end of the wicked shall be cut off

They shall perish

The wicked shall burnt up

The wicked will be consumed

The wicked will be devoured

The wicked shall be cut off from the earth

The wicked will go into perdition utter ruin

The wicked are compared to combustible materials

The wicked shall die

The wicked shall not inherit the kingdom of God
1 Corinthians 6:9-10 Know you not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortionists, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

What meaning can be attached to the words "burned up" if not utter consumption or destruction? It is almost unbelievable that men can read these statements, that He (God) will make an utter end and they shall be devoured as stubble fully dry," and clear finite usage of terms like 'destruction', 'death', 'destroy', 'cut off', 'burn up' and 'be no more' and still believe in a literal, endless hell or the wicked will still be living being prepared for everlasting life (Universalism). The above is an ongoing and unfinished work some of which has been picked up from other places and added to which is simply all God's Word not mine.

We must do well according to Gods' Word (believe and follow) in order to be accepted...

GENESIS 4:7 IF (conditional) you do well, shall you not be accepted? and if you do not well, sin lies at the door. And to you shall be his desire, and you shall rule over him.

Consequences for not believing and following...

GENESIS 20:7 Now therefore restore the man his wife; for he is a prophet, and he shall pray for you, and you shall live: and IF (conditional) you restore her not, know you that you shall surely die, you, and all that are yours.

EXODUS 4:23 And I say to you, let my son go, that he may serve me: and IF (conditional) you refuse to let him go, behold, I will slay your son, even your firstborn.

Being a disciple we must follow what Jesus says...

ANSWER: Our salvation is "CONDITIONAL" on BELIEVING and FOLLOWING what God's Word says BEFORE THE SECOND COMING as shown in both the old and new testament scriptures.

They do not need to. They only show that salvation is conditional on believing and following God's Word. They are further proof that the unrepentant wicked do not receive eternal life after the second coming as they do not believe and follow God's Word. I think you missed the point as to why these conditional "IF" scriptures were provided.

Sure they do. The scriptures in post # 2 linked prove that our salvation is conditional before the second coming and post # 1 shows what happens to the unrepentant wicked after the second coming. If the unrepentant wicked are destroyed and receive the second death after the second coming how can salvation not be conditional before the second coming?

1. 1 JOHN 3:4;

2. Iniquity is evil, wickedness, sin the opposite of good, righteousness and righteous. It is disobedeince and lawlessness to Gods' laws and not believing Gods' Word *PSALMS 119:172;

3. Sinners practice sin which is defined as breaking anyone of God's 10 commandments or not believing and following Gods' Word *ROMANS 3:20; ROMANS 7:7; 1 JOHN 3:4; JAMES 2:10-11; PSALMS 119:172.

4. The scriptures are Gods' Word not mine.
