Before Azusa was the country of Wales.

The Church has already apostatized. The Church Age opened with Christ standing in the midst of the candlesticks, in which the candlesticks represent the Church (Rev. 1:12-13). At the close of the Church Age, which pertains to the present time, we no longer find Christ in the midst of the Church, but rather outside, knocking on the door, trying to get in (Rev. 3:17-20). The Lord is, in fact, no longer dealing with the institutionalized Church as a whole, but rather with individuals only.

“If any man hear My Voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me” (Rev. 3:20). So, who presently is saved?

When Paul wrote to the Church at Corinth and told them the end of the age has come upon them (1 Corinthians 10:11), this should cause us to realize that we are running on fumes at this very moment.

If the calendars are right, the church is now 1,987 years old. The church began on the day of Pentecost, which was some 33 years after the birth of Christ. So, we deduct 33 years from 2020, which gives us the number of 1,987 as it regards the age of the modern church. In other words, we are living in the last days of the church age, which means that Bible prophecy concerning end-time events is about to happen. As it regards the work of God on this earth, every 2,000 years or every 1000 years something tremendous has taken place. Momentous things most definitely happened at other times, but hallmark events took place at the time frames mentioned.

We are in the days of "Lot," (coming soon the Rapture). The last of the last days of the Church age.

Something bigger than Azusa is coming!

Acts 2:17:
"And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God (proclaims these “last days” as beginning on the Day of Pentecost, and continuing through the coming Great Tribulation), I will pour out of My Spirit upon all flesh (speaks of all people everywhere and, therefore, not limited to some particular geographical location; as well, it is not limited respecting race, color, or creed): and your sons and your daughters shall Prophesy (includes both genders), and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams (all given by the Holy Spirit; the Hebrew language insinuates, “both your young men and old men shall see visions, and both your old men and young men shall dream dreams”; it applies to both genders as well):”

While we the Church is to grow and grow spiritually, may the steadfast vision to preserve His truth never fall from His zeal to uphold it! In other words, as the Church approaches change to His glorious will, may it be found blamelessly sound in the traditions He has handed down through His incorruptible word!
