Police make over 10 million arrests per year. In 2018 they discharged their firearms in about 3,000 times. Which equates to .003 percent police used deadly force in arrest situations.

In 98 percent of the cases in which those officers did use physical force, suspects “sustained no or mild injury.”

Police fired their guns wounding 223 and killing 92. In 2016 they fired their guns Wounding 23 and killing 9.
This is not an epidemic it is a false narrative that police are extremely deadly and it's getting worse.

Cops make over 25 million police initiated contacts a year. That equates to less than .003 percent of police contacts involve police shootings.

Also, taking into consideration these statistics if you remove justified use of force then you are going to come up with less than .001 percent of police contacts result in unjustified use of force.
