Hebrews 7:16. Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment,
but after the power of an endless life.
1 Corinthians 3:
1 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal,
even as unto babes in Christ.
2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it,
neither yet now are ye able.
3 For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions,
are ye not carnal, and walk as men?
Matthew 23:23. You pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have neglected the weightier matters of the law: justice and mercy and faith. These you ought to have done, without leaving the others undone.
Galatians 5:
1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be
entangled again with a yoke of bondage.
2 Indeed I, Paul, say to you that if you become circumcised,
Christ will profit you nothing.
3 And I testify again to every man who becomes circumcised that
he is a debtor to keep the whole law.
4 You have become estranged from Christ, you who are justified by law;
you have fallen from grace.
5 For we through the Spirit eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.
6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision
avails anything, but faith working through love.
Romans 7:4. Therefore, my brethren, you also have become dead to the law
through the body of Christ.
but after the power of an endless life.
