We Saw Christ’s Glory
16 We told you about the power of our Lord Jesus Christ. We told you about his coming. The things we told you were not just clever stories that people invented. No, we saw the greatness of Jesus with our own eyes. 17 Jesus heard the voice of the great and glorious God. That was when he received honor and glory from God the Father. The voice said, “This is my Son, the one I love. I am very pleased with him.” 18 And we heard that voice. It came from heaven while we were with Jesus on the holy mountain.

We become like Jesus by maturing in virtues.

Paul’s Prayer

I pray that he will give you the Spirit, who will let you know truths about God and help you understand them, so that you will know him better.

Jesus Christ and God the Father are one in glory and perfection as per Jesus Christ. We can be joint - heirs with Christ.

Frist off---- Christ and God the Father are simply One. How can the son have that same perfection as His Father if He is not God Who was manifested in the flesh?

1 Timothy 3:16
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory.

You do not have that figured out there is no hope for being a joint-heir with Him as you have not the True Christ.

And you are still misrepresenting the facts. If Joseph Smith had not jumped out of the window the rest of those in the room would have likely been killed also. How do you explain that John Taylor was wounded and almost killed?

John Taylor, and Willard Richards are NOT mythical men. No one is disputing their presence in the jail except you. It is well known that they were there and would likely have been killed had not someone shouted the Mormons are coming.

And you are still misrepresenting the facts. If Joseph Smith had not jumped out of the window the rest of those in the room would have likely been killed also. You have in your mind several things that are wrong, the first being that the spirit told you that only Joseph and Hyrum were in the room. How do you explain that John Taylor was wounded and almost killed?

John Taylor, and Willard Richards are NOT mythical men. No one is disputing their presence in the jail except you. It is well known that they were there and would likely have been killed had not someone shouted the Mormons are coming.

Of course you would support murders rather than destruction of a printing press that was being used to spew out lies and turning people against members of The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints and inciting murderous mob behavior.

The true penalty, as it were----- is going to happen when you die in 10, 20 years or whenever.

That is when reality sets in and foolish fantasies come to an end.

I know the true Jesus Christ of the Bible who's God is the Father and is one with the Father in glory and perfection. The Father is greater than Him. He is our Brother and those who LOVE Him keep His commandments. Those who do not keep the commandments do not know God. Life eternal is to know God the Father and Jesus Christ Who He sent. I learned all of this from the Bible.

Whenever you are confronted with a real problem--- you break out in part of your testimony as if it will protect you from losing your faith [in your Church and false prophets]. In which you only hope to be able to endure through. The "I knows" are a definite part of that.
