Depends on how you define spiritual gift. There are lists in Scripture.

We know that every good and perfect gift is from God (Jam 1:17).

Think as long as it is God, then of course it's fine. But avoid otherwise.

Any gift God gives to us, is not for us alone, but to share with others, with the end result of glorifying God and his love for us, proven on the cross by Jesus.

This would help you to understand, especially with studying God's word, if this is a gift from him.

Sounds liks "Astral Projection". It's an occult practice. since it's not a concept found in Scripture, and IS a concpt common in Occultism, I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole. It's likely the "the god who commands spells his name with an "s".

Agree with you that we should avoid doing those activities.

There are a couple of Scriptures that seem like the Lord did iit
-"And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing. But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea." Acts 8:39-40

There's a Scripture about it happening to Paul. But cant remember the wording in order to include.

But dont see Philip asking the Lord nor Philip making it happen.
