Here in the U.S.A., the Constitution is the highest social contract there is:

If we see that those who are sworn to uphold this contract are not keeping their end, we are still held responsible to abide by it as we are bound by a greater contract:

So, what we understand is that this whole thing is a great test to see who is who.
