Is he really a dictator? Or is is rather that you just never liked his bold and strong talk! Sorry but that doesn't make one a dictator. It's about what POWERS one unjustly takes upon himself all which have been kept in check by the Supreme Court and Congress.

Let's just assume the crowds were moved back because the President of the United States was going to be in the vicinity? Are you telling me crowds haven't routinely been moved around, streets closed down and a measure of other things because a President not just this one was going to be in a place? So tell us why your rage isn't most unreasonable.

Right, I prefer the strong power of listening, de-escalation and reconciliation - as many of our police chiefs around the country are attempting to do..... Declaring our military must "dominate" the streets is the language of a dicatator.

Um, Presidents do not normally break up protest for a photo op. So let's stop pretending Trump's actions were normal...

What nonsense! Who says the President isn't listening! He's said over, and over, and over how much he feels the cop in question was unjust! You're talking about things need to de-escalate! What are you talking about! There's people beating up innocent people on the streets and destroying businesses! The way you're talking about listening is keep one's mouth shut and don't do anything to stop innocent people from getting hurt. And about the military.....the Governors of the states have called them up as well so what's your problem?

And you make light by calling it a photo up of his appearing at this place! I don't! The place has great historic significance and I think it shows leadership to demonstrate one stands with the vision and dreams the place does represent. I believe it was a good place for him to show up.

Why would the President need to disperse peaceful protestors who were cooperating with law enforcement? There was no urgent need for this photo op. It was 100% grandstanding and demonstrated the depth of his religious faith and his inability to lead the nation.

To push crowds back when a president walks a street has nothing to do with curfews. Even with a motorcade they keep the crowds back. The secret services worst dream is a president decides to go walk a street in times of strife. That doesn't just happen and takes planning and preparation. Part of that is crowd control, in this case the bigger part.....

The president has come to our city several times, as have past presidents. Not once do I recall the path being cleared unannounced by military and tear gas.

He was trying to compensate for cowering in the bunker the night before.

If this doesn’t upset Christians then I just don’t know what standards they even have anymore.

The president used your holy book and a sacred house of worship as props for a photo op after having a peaceful crowd dispersed with tear gas. People got tear gassed so he can pose awkwardly with a book he’s clearly never opened once in his life.

To allow these articles of your faith to be debased in this way and for petty politics and not speak up is in my opinion, even more shameful than the president actually doing it.

It did "just happen" in this case. If Trump wanted his photo op, why not wait 1 hour until after the curfew? Well the answer is obvious. He wanted to demonstrate his power with imagery of National Guardsmen tear gassing citizens who were protesting peacefully - just blocks from where the U.S. Consitution is kept....
