"They" are wrong. God looks at the heart. 1 Samuel 16:7, "The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”

i love your signature. "my bible is shaped like a heart not like a club." that is the kind of God i want. i have had my bellyful of "gods" who are willng to belt me when i step out of line

hi yes. i have been doagnosed with OCD, Borderline Personality Disorder, and COmplex PTSD. also had eating disorder (BED) and self harming issues since young child. about 7 or 8.
Thank you for sharing. Have you ever considered that the voices may actually not be demonic in nature, but legitimate parts of yourself (as in alter personalities)? That is something that often results from severe ongoing trauma that begins before age 7.
Just a thought.... OCD, self-harming, and eating disorders often go hand in hand with this, as a result of trauma. Often, with resolution and healing of trauma, these can improve and even be overcome... with time. Healing is the Lord's doing, and not something one should feel condemned over or feel there is a time limit.

sure. but demons cannot change our staus before God. They cannot take our salvation because that is sealed until the day of redemption. unless we choose to walk away from it. people lose salvation when they wlk away. or they are in wilful sin.

my demons had to have been caused by ancestral sin. because they started n me as a yougn child. about age 7. i was too young to have sinned (biblical age responsibility is 12) so how else do you explain what a brat i was as a child?

it wasnt deliberate naughtiness it was more like an attchment issue. not able to trust anyone or love anyone. and very needy and anxious and demanding. fears, phobias, self harm, hoarding food and binge eating on it. like not from liking food (although i am kind of a glutton) but from comupulsion. i had terible night terors and would see things that arent there

oh an di falsely accused a family member of raping me when i was about 5 or 6.

how else can that be accounted for except by demons coming from somewhere

bad children usually the result of bad roots
Sis, how did you even have a concept of what sex or rape was at age 5?? I'm not calling you a liar. I just wonder how a child at that age would know what that is in order to accuse someone of doing that to her.

I have been told it is a possibility. had a ve bad episode the other night. something triggered me and i kept hearing this voice inside me.... that of a young child pleading. pleading not to be hurt. it wasnt the voice i use as a 38 year old. sometimes in coversation i find my eyes glazing over and people can see it- it is like i have left my body. i often do it if people get too close to me.. therapist says it a type of dissociation and maybe a form of flashback?

i do sometimes believe the flashbacks i have get confused with how i see God? like i see God as someone who keeps telling me He could never love me as i am not His? because am just not clean enough

Sounds just like DID to me, sis .... the childlike voice of a child pleading not to be hurt... all of what you've shared sounds like DID. Triggering situations can cause "switching" which would explain the eyes glazing and feeling like you're not present/in the body. If there are alters who are holding memories of trauma, that makes perfect sense.

I'm not a therapist, so take it to the Lord. But I am a survivor of trauma from the womb, and it cause my mind to be shattered into literally thousands of parts/alters. I am now 47 yrs old and the Lord has brought me through much healing. It is possible ... it is a process, and He alone is the Healer ... He alone is who can lead you through the mine field of flashbacks, and timing is between Him and you (so don't let anyone condemn you if healing isn't instant and for going at a pace HE directs).

thank you <3
You are welcome. :)
I would like to suggest.... when you hear that little voice again (or any of the others) ... love them with the love that Jesus has for all children. Bring yourself into His presence and allow Him to call those parts forward who are ready to be ministered to. Some/many may be afraid of Him ... not because they are bad or evil, but because they have been taught scary things about God/Jesus. It takes time to learn the difference between the "god/jesus" they were taught about, and the True God/Jesus. Be patient with the broken/wounded parts of yourself. They aren't demonic manifestations.

In my journey, the Lord would/has often called me to just spend time in His presence... not for any other reason but just to be His... to present "Every Part" of myself to Him.... and just be His child who He loves. And in those times, He pulls forward parts/alters to minister to and heal... those times may involve bringing trauma memories to His light.... very difficult, but always for the purpose of healing and resolving those traumas.

I hope that made sense... and I hope it helps.

"Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love." 1 John 4:8

People hated Jesus because they couldn't tolerate him or understand the love he had.

" For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16

God is love and loves the world He created. Anyone who doesn't have love in their heart, especially for their own children, cannot claim to be a true Christian. I know; I had an abusive hateful father. I eventually ended up in a mental hospital for 14 months -- he was wealthy but paid for it out of the money my grandfather left me -- where I discovered who I really was.

Shortly after I left I moved to another state and met my wife -- 52 years ago! We still love each other and have a wonderful time every day. Don't give up!!

Here is a story for you... There was a girl in a white family in South Africa who was determined to be "colored". She was removed from her home, friends, school, etc. and forced to live in a colored township. On her own she decided that she was black and went to live in a squalid black township. Several years later a reporter tracked her down and asked her what she thought about what had happened to her. She replied, "if all this hadn't happened to me I never would have met my husband".

... and another ... I was born and raised as a Jew. When I met my wife, my father and her family were opposed to our marriage because of their bigotry. I took my fiancee to meet my grandmother, a Russian Jewish immigrant who fled for her life to escape the tsar; when we went to see her she was old and bedridden. We talked for a while, then I asked her, "You know Sue [not her real name] isn't Jewish; what do you think of that?" She replied, "Sammy [not my real name], it's a new world."

I still tear up thinking about these stories and how God has always watched over me even when things were at their darkest. Hang in there!! Don't let others determine your life for you. God is love!!

am sorry to hear about your mother. my grandmother had alzheimers. it is realy a horrible illness. i sympathise.

no i just said that no one is special... i dont need compensation. am happy with my life and myself. and Jesus lvoes everyone. no favourites in Gods kingdom.

the kind of words i get is sometimes i get a word that somebody is in a particular situation eg they trapped in an abusive marriage, or they have a need fo rhealing in their body.
and yes when i give these words to the person concerned thay are like "how do you know that?" and these are people i do not know hardly....
I'm surprised that someone would say "how do you know that?".. if your church happens to be one that teaches that the gifts of the Spirit are for today. I'd take a guess that a lot of your congregation would be having a number of the gifts of the Spirit in operation. That most if not all have the speaking in tongues too.

But, so far you've only been talking like you are the only one. I wonder why that would be.
i also am always being given scriptures and wors of encouragement for people regaridng situations they are n tha i never woudl know about.
Those are not a word of knowledge. They are (if you have) simply due to memorizing scriptures and speaking them. In a church full of people someone is likely to say that the verse you quote has spoken to them.
so if that isnt God what is it???? how is ti possible that i just know thigns about people??
How it's possible is because you hear the Church people talk. It can't be that you're getting the information from God because with all of your giving of examples you haven't given credit to the Holy Spirit.
my issue is you seem to think those with physical disabilites are accepted by God because their issues arent caused by demons or sin.
I'd like for you to get the quote from whichever post of mine that shows that I said that.
but sin or demons ddont affect our standing before god if we born again?
Oh yes they do, or else Jesus wasted his time in teaching that unless we forgive others of their transgressions against us, then God would not forgive our transgressions. And the apostle John wasted his time in writing that if anyman says that he does not sin he is a liar. Then proceeded to teach how to get forgiveness from sin.
my whole life in the churhc i have been told i have a spirit of divination or jezebel spirit or some such nonsense and am gettign sick of it.
So now it comes out what people have really said about you. And your response is to say that you are sick of it.. instead of searching in your heart to see if perhaps there might be even the tiniest of the ungodly divination there.. or just to cover all the bases and tell God. Search me Lord to see if such a thing as they say might be true. And to be obedient to the teachings of Jesus add that if you have something against someone who accused you.. that you forgive them wholeheartedly.
i hate the fact that physcia\lly disabeld people are seen as deserving of compassion (rightfully so) but mental health issues are demonic so we dont deserve compassion.
Mental health issues are not necessarily your fault. Unless your attitude invites demonic influence by not exercising a loving attitude toward others. The Bible has the example of the former king Saul for a reason. His anger and jealousy opened the door for demons to harass and torment him. If he had forgiven David and refused to hate him.. it's possible that Saul would have retained the anointing and remained king.
most dmons coem in through ancestral sin rather than personal sin.
The lesser is by ancestral sin. The greater is due to personal sin of unforgiveness. Peter sought a shorter number of times to forgive someone but Jesus indicated that forgiveness is multiple. Peter took Jesus teaching and wrote in one of his epistles that love covers the multitude of sin.
i was demonised as a child. i was a very evil cold hearted little beotch despite being from a Godly family of born again parents who minsitered in church and usng int he choir. i was a little gobshite to put it frankly..... therefore my sinful braty nature had nothing to do with bad parenting or sin. it had to come thorugh a demon,.... my mother;s ancestors were ROmany gypsie. the Roma people have many cultural rituals involving divination. in another branch of my family they were 33 degree Scottish lodge masons.
Your family background culture is a factor then but it's still a lesser than your own personal unforgiveness. You no doubt haven't forgiven them, nor received forgiveness from God so as to forgive yourself.

You have been keeping the door of the ancestral influences open rather than shutting it by speaking the cleansing power of the blood of Jesus upon your family and you.
so my demons are caused purely by ancestral issues....therefor eGod does not hold my demons against me they were not my fault.
You are half right. God does not hold any demons against you. But, as long as you don't deal with them as I've outlined to you.. then those demons being there are your fault. You stop them in your life the same way that all Christians are to apply the redemptive cleansing blood of Jesus to any sin that we might do. That is also what James wrote "resist the devil and he will flee from you."

Christians are responsible to own their sin so they can give it to Jesus that He covers the sin with His shed blood. Then you can say like those in Revelation. "..they overcame the accuser of the brethren (the devil) by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony."
he sees me as pure as ny new born baby who never sinned he took y sin away 200 years ago and when i received Him he forgave all of my sins....
The taking of sins away was concerning those while you were an unsaved sinner. Thereafter when you've sinned as a Christian, you are to repent of it. In the same way that taking one shower or bath doesn't keep you clean and smelling good for the rest of your life.
so am left with the demonic manifestations. but they are no more my choice than being born with cystoic fibrosis or cerebral palsy. in gods eyes it is the same.....
Everyone is born with a sinful nature, that no one could change by their own will power, nor get rid of it by doing good works.
It is only by accepting the crucifixion of Jesus by faith to be the canceling of that debt against us. However, the mind and body still follow the sinful patterns.. of those every Christian is responsible. Else God, Jesus, and the disciples wasted their time putting verses of scripture in the Bible that address sinful behaviors and sinful thoughts of the mind and how the Christian is to overcome them.

If you don't deal with them then you are like the person that James wrote of.. you deceive yourself by saying that you are not responsible for any sins that you commit.. as I mentioned earlier, if you say that then the apostle John says that you are a liar because you do not regard the truth of God's word.. you do not humble yourself to it. But by your own reasoning you ignore your God given responsibility to repent. That's like wallowing in the mud and not bothering to get clean. Your sin will be noticeable to others like the unwashed body begins to stink.

You've used the romany divination effect and most likely attentive observation to those around you.. to 'know' things about other people. Therefore it's not the Holy Spirit gifting of a word of knowledge.

You've admitted your family background and things about yourself. So repent of relying on your family ungodliness while at the same time lying to yourself that it's the word of knowledge. Make a clean break of those things and rely on the blood of Jesus to cleanse you of all unrighteousness. Believe that and walk in it daily. Don't rely on the divination for approval from others. But rely on your being accepted by and through the beloved Jesus Christ.

That in the entirety is how to make yourself a vessel of honor ready and prepared for the Master's use. You will decide whether you remain a dishonorable vessel, or whether you present yourself honorable for the Godhead to bring Him glory. As the apostle John wrote. ".. do the truth and come to the light that it may be manifest that your deeds be wrought in God."

Those are not a word of knowledge. They are (if you have) simply due to memorizing scriptures and speaking them. In a church full of people someone is likely to say that the verse you quote has spoken to them.
How it's possible is because you hear the Church people talk. It can't be that you're getting the information from God because with all of your giving of examples you haven't given credit to the Holy Spirit.
I'd like for you to get the quote from whichever post of mine that shows that I said that.

The taking of sins away was concerning those while you were an unsaved sinner. Thereafter when you've sinned as a Christian, you are to repent of it. In the same way that taking one shower or bath doesn't keep you clean and smelling good for the rest of your life.

Else God, Jesus, and the disciples wasted their time putting verses of scripture in the Bible that address sinful behaviors and sinful thoughts of the mind and how the Christian is to overcome them.

thank you for kind words. yeah, you are right, it is not divination. i am not a witch. it is just hallucinations. i think maybe my problem is self condemantion? i got to work on that.

am also reading some stuff on how to raise my self worth and love myself more. i realise God want sme to just be happy and enjpy life

i cna always repent onbehalf of my ancestors for THEIR divination. and thanl God i have been unaffected by any kind of witchcraft myself. i have been blessd that God has kept me from its harmful effects

yeah am just hearing fom my own flesh. because ma an empath, a very sensitive introverted person i think i just pick up on things around me. God can use that sensitivity.

Sis, how did you even have a concept of what sex or rape was at age 5?? I'm not calling you a liar. I just wonder how a child at that age would know what that is in order to accuse someone of doing that to her.

Excuse me?!!! I was 5, and let me tell you----You know---the pain tells you!!! I might not have had the vocabulary, but I knew what he was doing hurt like hell and it was not right!! I explained it to his wife and grown daughter as best I could when they found me crying---I was promptly shut up in a dark closet for hours. I passed out from the heat, when I came to, I was told if I ever repeated this to anyone---they would put me back in the closest!! It was years before I told anyone.

I hope that made sense... and I hope it helps.

yes, it does help. thank you

You misunderstood me, sister. I also experienced rapes many numerous times since a small child. I did not say she didn't experience it.

Listen carefully to what I am trying to say. Our sister "WrappedUpInHisLove3" stated that she lied as a 5 year old about someone raping her. My question to her is .... how would a 5 year old lie about something like that? (In other words... I do not believe she lied at all.) A five year old child who's never been raped or exposed to sex wouldn't know to make such accusations. If a 5 year old makes such an accusation and then recants... I have to wonder who threatened her to be quiet. That's what I'm getting at.

I'm sorry if my words failed and you thought I said something I did not say.
