Any form of power from God comes through His Holy Spirit. Magic is not typically used as a descriptor of His work in our lives as born again Christians. In my case, I believe His work comes in the form of discernment.

Excellent! I am hoping the gym opens sooner than later here. Actually, the gym here is partially open, but with no access to any water - for showers or even for drinking.

magic.. its not a word we ever use to describe Gods protection. His word... Him that protects us watches over us keep us. Under His wings Its His rod and staff... that great shepherd.

Its not magic. Its His armor, His peace, His joy, His strength. We are in His hands. There is no magic. The sweet sweet Holy Spirit.

What kind of "magic"?
Why do you say that "energy" is protection against it, but the armour of God is not? The armour of God includes the sword of the Spirit - which is the word of God - and the helmet of salvation. our salvation is through Christ, who died on the cross for us; shed his blood so that we could be saved from sin and death.
Nothing is more powerful than that.

I don't need any kind of magic to protect me.
All through my life, God has protected me through every situation and danger I have faced.

And to give an example.....
A few years ago, I was walking along a street late at night with no-one around. Foolishly, I had my headphones on so I couldn't see a couple of muggers approaching me. One sprung up in front of me and the other was standing behind me. The man in front of me told me to hand over my mobile phone and said that the man behind me would stab me with a knife if I refused.
Then a strange thing happened. I found myself walking away from them without a care in the world, it was as if they weren't even there. The next thing I knew was that they were quite a distance behind me and were actually crawling away, desperate not to be seen. I could hear their voices of frustration and upset. I calmly walked home without feeling shaken at all.
God is faithful!

Fervent Prayer to God, Making The Sign of The Cross, Fasting, Holy Water etc.

Also, Asking Theotokos (The Virgin Mary), The Holy Saints, The Holy Martyrs, The Holy Apostles and Prophets in Heaven to intercede for Us.
