I believe in the Bible, we are only required to pay back money unjustly gained if we have the money to give. maybe Hinn spent it all? it is not possible for every believer who has stolen to make restitution in terms of money if the money is no longer there. maybe his confession and apology is his way of restituting?

That would be a wonderful thought, but in reality, what do we say to the elderly people who believing what he preached gave the last dollar they had thinking they would be blessed from something he asked God to do for them?

Do we tell them......Lesson learned is a lesson to remember.

Maybe....just maybe, if there was a legal way to make him and all the other "Prosperity Theology" preachers pay back what was given to them, it would put an end to this kind of nonsense.

Then again, nope. Barnum Bailey correctly said of the foolish...…...

What is "prosperity"?

Every brand new day that God allows you to keep breathing.
Health.
Your house.
your food.
your laptop, iphone, cable, and Hi Def Big Screen.

stuff like that.

In case you have not heard or seen this, Benny Hinn has confessed and repented and rebuked the "Properity Gospel...……..

Do you think he is being honest or did he get saved??????

What he said is what a lot of preachers have been saying for a long time.

2 Peter 2:3 ...
'And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you.'

What is the prosperity gospel? Exactly what it says, it teaches that you NEED prosperity in your material life. It doesn't preach that you need prosperity in your 'spiritual' life, which the Bible teaches, but in your material worldly life. All they are preaching is IDOLATRY, elevating wealth and possessions above God, and elevating created things above the CREATOR. This is 'another' gospel which Paul warned about ... Galatians 1:6 ...
'I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel. Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.'

1 Timothy 6:5-8 ...…"
Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself. But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.'

These preachers of the prosperity gospel are certainly perverting the true gospel of Christ Jesus. But Paul says there isn't another gospel, but only one true gospel of Jesus.

Thoughts????????
Wow. I certainly hope it is genuine. Praise God if it is; woe to Hinn if it isn't.

They could start a new ministry and rob Peter to pay Paul.

Has anyone heard or read anything lately about Benny Hinn? I'm curious as to whether or not he's made any sort of visible, lasting change.

I know he said he was removing all references to prosperity from his website, and was going to stop talking about the "seed gift" and other prosperity related heresy.

I didn't ever follow him in the first place so I don't know if this change was legitimate or not. I did a quick google search and nothing recent comes up.

Anyone have any actual information?

His brand is very big now, so it will take the grace of God, for him to truly repent. Look up some of the sermons, which he did after and see whether he has really repented.

I can assure you that, for as long as he is still heavily into the healing and deliverance business, that's 1 huge pointer which shows he hasn't changed for 1 single bit. Because how and why in this day and age, wld someone worry about praying for the flesh to be saved and not the soul, if they were genuinely serving God?

Do you think Kenneth Copeland will repent one day?
If we all pray that our Father in Heaven grasps his (Copelands) heart and wrings out the filth, he might repent. However, will his congregation as well? He would be nowhere if people did not follow and fill his wallets with earthly money.

When Zacchaeus repented he returned the money.

Funny thing about Mr. Hinn. A quick search for his name in the news online reveals that he has not been in the news lately. And a look at Benny Hinn Ministries’ website and Facebook page shows that he’s got no public events coming up in the foreseeable future.

In fact, Benny Hinn’s name has not been in the news much at all since September of 2019. This was about the time when Hinn announced to the world that he was rejecting the so-called “prosperity gospel” and would henceforward preach only historically established Christian doctrine.

The thing that always gives the truth away is that Talk is always cheaper than action. ALL the so called faith healers TALK and TALK and tell everyone how God heals through them, But where is the man many regard as the world’s greatest healer, when you really need him, during a pandemic?

Where are ANY of them??????
