Its not normal to pray to Creatures. Normality is to pray to God one and only.
I’m Orthodox and we don’t pray to Micheal/others but rather venerate.
Let us pray to Jesus alone, and ask our Lord and Savior for all that is in Heaven to Pray for us.
To respect themif I may ask what is the difference between pray to and venerate?

If you ask someone to pray to God for you, you are praying to that person. "Pray" simply means "ask", "petition". Prayer does not equal worship. Its not normal to pray to Creatures. Normality is to pray to God one and only.
