Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump
Republicans feel that Social Media Platforms totally silence conservatives voices. We will strongly regulate, or close them down, before we can ever allow this to happen. We saw what they attempted to do, and failed, in 2016. We can’t let a more sophisticated version of that....

....happen again. Just like we can’t let large scale Mail-In Ballots take root in our Country. It would be a free for all on cheating, forgery and the theft of Ballots. Whoever cheated the most would win. Likewise, Social Media. Clean up your act, NOW!!!!

Setting aside for a moment his complete lack of any power whatsoever to close down social media, any Trump supporters like to comment on the idea of trying to silence people's voices for not following the government's chosen ideology?

As for his endless boring rants about mail-in voting, guess what was included in a Trump campaign flyer recently?

This is definitely relayed to this...

Your president gets a fact check label.

Hahaha!

I mean Trump supporters have seen 3.5 years of this garbage lying and still blame everyone else.
I wonder what it will take for them to see he is a serial liar and for that to be important.

Twitter recently had the gall to fact-check Donald's tweets -- to the surprise of nobody, they were found wanting.

And Donald always gets hysterical when challenged.

Our president is just setting up the framework for a possible "loss" this November. By claiming mail-in ballots are rife with fraud, he will be able to make claims in November if he loses the election. By claiming he has always known that mail-in voting is fraudulent, he sets up the scenario that sees him legitimately contesting the election.

It will take Donald being out of office and a new Republican to dole out the shiny trinkets.

It honestly could not be clearer.

But even still...will his supporters care? Not the poorly educated ones...whoever those are. I guess we'll find out come election time

And if he concedes, he and his supporters can paint him as the gracious martyr who willingly sacrificed his legitimate claim for the sake of unity and upholding our system of government and the peaceful transfer of power.

I'm waiting for him to call for an investigation into the California Congressional election that a Republican just won, since it was largely done by mail. If he does that, then perhaps I can take him seriously when he complains about how mail in voting is fraudulent.

I can only assume you'd want some pretty favourable odds to make a wager on that one.

So long as they get a better quality of person; Dahlmer is dead though right...?.

I don't mind disagreeing with someone's politics but gaslighting ain't okay.

Who said anything about "better quality"?

Donald will be tossed under the bus as soon as someone else -- anyone else -- is doling out the trinkets.

You think? I really don't think so. Perhaps THAT will be it's own thread though:

How will Republicans handle Trump once he's no longer president?

I wondered that, but I guess they just mail merge whatever name you sign up with.
