The Feeding of the 5000

The feeding of the 5000 (John 6:1-15) This was the 4th miraculous work of power that Jesus performed in His public ministry. Great crowds followed Him wherever He went. Jesus needed rest and took His disciples to the hillside. The crowds found out where he went and He patiently ministered to them,despite the intrusion. Jesus also wanted to give them food and a boy with five barley loaves and two fishes offered what he had to Jesus,who multiplied it and fed the crowds. All were fed and well fed! 12 baskets were left over. Jesus can meet every need!

Amazing how that young lad was used by the LORD to feed all those people. He gave what he had and Jesus did the rest and so it is with us,we give what we have and Jesus does the rest!

'Give us this day our daily bread!'

Thankful that 'the LORD provides!'

The LORD is our Helper!
