I begin to think what I will do after graduation
I really want to travel the world more. For this I would need to work immediately and save.
But I also think about pursuing masters degree afterwards. It would be another 2 years on earning minimal student finances.
A part of me also wants to find a wife and have a family. I would need to work full time and financial and time allocation would most likely negate both travel and masters degree
Life's decisions
Have you considered teaching English abroad? I have a few friends who’ve done that. It allows you to work, and travel a little bit as well.
It can be tough to decide what to do after college for sure. So many options. I will pray for you in making the right decision.

Thanks. It's already over. ^-^
She turned me down shortly but politely. I asked if we're cool just going forward from here together as we are now, and she said yes, with a laugh and a smile that you just kind of take to be meant to be comforting, to assure me that there's no need for either of us to feel weird about this or anything ^_^, because right after she did that she also said in a lighthearted way that there was no need for me to be nervous about simply asking her out (she noticed my face as I started, well, praying hard and trying to grasp some tenuous hold of courage, and she asked if I was feeling okay ^_^ ). So I feel everything is fine from here. To be honest I am just glad it's over now.

Don't downplay the disappointment - chances are, you're going to feel a bit ropy for a few days. It's completely normal to experience a "comedown" when you've toiled away through months of heightened excitement and anticipation. If you start feeling dark, just acknowledge it. Don't be too hard on yourself to feel optimistic.

I'm serious too - because I've felt that euphoric comedown myself (admittedly on a different level) and it's not nice, especially when you've talked yourself into victory. That's why boxers suffer such terrible depression, they spend months hyping up a fight, just to turn up and lose.

I've also been turned down by more women than you've met. 90% of the time it's down to a misalignment of personalities, very rarely is it down to anything else.

Just wanted to chime in on that.

Thank you /||\ Yes, I have TESOL qualification to teach English :) I wanted to start something online to begin building up some experience and ideas. I have a few potential students interested already. But I haven't found a curriculum yet to structure the lessons or the time due to my current studies. I need to find a lesson curriculum book I think

Most of the people I know who travel frequently started blogs or created a venture from home which allowed them to work remotely. The alternative is strategic planning with a traditional employer. You’d need to determine your budget and tier your travel to periods that are less expensive or opt for a trip during the high season and others outside of it.

My daughter is in your position. She’s chosen to focus on business growth and personal development. We’re moving overseas for several years (for my education). We’ll live in the UK, France, Italy, UAE and travel extensively. It’s an opportunity to see the world and expand our horizons.

But she understands the consequences of her choice. She’ll have opportunities to meet like-minded people and possible suitors. Marriage isn’t a pressing concern right now. That’s an important difference. She’s laying the foundation that will enable her to do the same for her children. The delay is worth it from our perspective.

It isn’t the right decision for everyone. For her, having the ability to work from home and the means to meet her family’s needs is foremost. Its much easier to put in place when demands are minimal.

This is a question of priorities and the price you’re willing to accept for your decision. :)

Yeah, I studied and solo traveled in Iran recently a while ago. Amazing and life changing experience. But it wasn't the easiest due to continuous movement and choppy hotel internet connections for studying xD Its more ideal if you're minimally moving around, but for me I was on the move every couple of days or so to another city. It depends on the conditions :) It's hard to return to normal life after great adventure. Nothing quite feels the same again and for me I always have a longing to return to it.

Wow, that sounds exciting! Travel is amazing and you sure learn a lot. I've never been to Europe, but I've been to the UAE. It's very contemporary, clean and expensive, but heavily commercialized and expensive. I left my country in the winter and ended up in UAE in peak summer and walked around UAE in or carrying winter clothes lol

Writing a second book is tougher than writing the first. Because you’re about to find out whether the first one was a fluke or not :grimacing:

If you've had more than one crush in your life, then you can write more than one book.

It's just a shift in attitude - and it really does help to write experimental nonsense in a scrap folder AWAY from the main manuscript, just to get you out of the linear mindset that your previous work might have put you in.

Poetry and limericks are great for that; I once dedicated an entire poem to a moth that was dancing around my lightshade. It might seem strange, but that is the point. It's designed to re-calibrate the mind and get you thinking beyond 'the book'.

I'm sure you'll be fine though, but if you 'stick' consider letting rip with some nonsense writing. Literally anything, even if it's a love song for a custard tart.

I'm writing on my first book and I don't even know how I'm gonna write the second one. Haha.

What's the book on?!

I don't like seeing my cat sad.
Why is your cat sad? :(

I hope you feel better. If you suffer from migraines or tension headaches it may be helpful to use an aromatherapy machine (they’re inexpensive) with lavender essential oil. Lavender has a calming effect. I add it to room sprays and bedding.

I listen to Calm Radio and tune into specific channels while resting. You can listen for free. Its great for stress. :)

Thank you! Might look into that!

I'm attending a Rethinking Hell live stream at YT right now .... Made a comment referring to an argument given by a traditionalist clip in the vid, and when Chris Date the conditionalist host responded to it ... he just called me a "she" out loud in front of YouTube ....

They all think I am a girl at first because of my name. ^_^

Oh? Don't suppose you are willing to tell us what was your first (like, the title of it) and what both that and the current one are about? :)

Weather is consistently changing and giving me constant migraines... and I’m working tomorrow... ugh!

Ironic, or whatever the term might be to describe this situation. Today was my last day of work in a row of 7 worked out of the last 8, in which I finally get a rest for a while, but for you the very next day, it's the start of you going back to work. I hope it will go well for you; it's often not easy to get back into the swing of things after being out of it for so long.

It somehow seems fitting that you would have such solutions for other's stress, Lady Bella. ^-^
