Can a man who is living with another man's wife become a Christian and stay with her?

YES. But very soon thereafter he would be convicted to end the relationship.
I mean could he persist in it. He knows it's wrong but he reasons that he is saved by grace and he doesn't want to leave her. And he wasn't planning on leaving her when he came to the Lord.

If the actual husband dies his wife would be free to marry again. But if you or his wife arrange to have him killed you are damned.

Romans 6:1-25, 1 Corinthians 6:9-20, Galatians 5:16-21, 1 Thessalonians 4:1-8, and Hebrews 13:4 all teach against this.

To become a Christian, one must
  1. repent of [turn from] his sins and
  2. turn to Jesus.
Yes, he might sin again, later, and need to repent from that, too, but if he doesn't leave that house, he never did #1.

Jesus said,
"For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?" Mark 8:36 NKJV

They could both be saved (because salvation isn't according to our works), but if that sin is not quickly repented of after receiving salvation, I suspect God would chastise them both as children.

I don't believe any truely born again person would do this.

He is causing her to commit adultery and he is fornicating too.

It would require him to believe the relationship is sanctified because of the change and dismiss the scriptures that say otherwise.

We do this all the time. You sin. You know you’re wrong. Its the willingness to continue that’s the issue and the likelihood he’d think its fine. He won’t call it sin.

What if this person had stolen another mans life savings? Would he be required to return that money when he turns to God? (Luke 13:3)

Answer this and you will be on the right track..

3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. 6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.(1Jn 2:3-6)

Thanks

Certainly, if he has it. That was Zacchaeus' response in Luke 19:8.

"Then Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord,
'Look, Lord, I give half of my goods to the poor;
and if I have taken anything from anyone by false accusation, I restore fourfold.' ”

(Notice that he wasn't compensating according to Old Testament standards, sevenfold [Proverbs 6:31]. It was by the conviction of the Holy Spirit.)
