Hello folks,
Just wanted to throw out this short introduction. I am a single 32 year old living in northern Washington state and was born to an Afghan Mother and a White father. So I like to say I'm a halfghan. Lol. That being said, I was raised with my mother and her side and thus grew up a Muslim. My beliefs have not aligned with Islam for quite a long time now, however. My father was probably a Christian but certainly not in practice, I'm sure.
Finding myself on my own up here in Washington has given me a lot of time to think about a variety of things. One of those things being that I wanted to explore further into Christianity and the strong sense of community that comes along with it. However, during COVID this is not possible currently. So that led me here instead. I'm not really sure what it is that I am looking for exactly. But I hope to start with simply connecting and engaging with people, then go from there I suppose.
Anyways, not so short but there you have it. Looking forward to the conversation. =]
