May 14, 2020 (LifeSiteNews) – In a lengthy interview with the German Catholic newspaper Die Tagespost (published in full below), Cardinal Gerhard Müller responds in detail to the many accusations leveled at him in the last days for having signed Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganó's appeal concerning the corona crisis and the impending dangers of governmental control and abuse.

"“No one can be forced to believe that a few 'philanthropic' super billionaires have the best programs for world improvement just because they have succeeded in accumulating a huge private fortune,” he comments."

I agree with what he says about the motives behind the lock downs, but I have to wonder when one world authority tries to discredit the motives of the creation of another rising world authority.

In January when the virus was in China alone, blocking all travel in and out of China would have halted the spread of the virus and prevented a global lock down. Governments did not take this option, one must ask why.

I remember the UK were allowing people to come and go from China freely, 'self isolate if you feel unwell within 14 days of returning from China'. Utter nonsense.

Or ask why China did not take that option for the sake of her own people??

German intel: China told WHO to hide critical COVID-19 transmission data

The CCP had the WHO bury important data on the virus, and it cost the world 4-6 weeks of critical preparation time. Either they're too arrogant to realize something bad was happening and it was their fault, or they wanted this to happen and were willing to sacrifice several thousand lives of their own people to give the appearance of victimhood along with the rest of the world and place them above suspicion.

Given communism's track record, I believe it's the latter. I don't think Xi Jinping and the CCP would bat an eye at signing the death warrants of 50,000+ Chinese citizens (which, I believe is the real number of deaths - or was around mid-March, it's probably similar to our [real] death toll, when you exclude all the false COVID deaths that doctors are being forced to report). Remember, Stalin said "one death is a tragedy, a million deaths is a statistic."

Yes. I'm not generally into 'conspiracy theories', but I think to a certain extent governments have used and permitted this crisis in order to further a certain agenda. The Cardinal in the OP is correct, this is not a conspiracy theory, it's actually happening. God Bless :)

I think the basic fact that there was sort of a uniform response to this very early on by all of the different national governments says a lot about the existence of an agenda, and what it is.

Totally agree, and it's something that should be paid attention to.

That said, as individuals, we aren't in any position to fight a government, but we can learn from this episode and be aware of the existence of a master plan for all of civilization.

In a way this reminds me of "The Cuban Missile Crisis", "Duck and Cover" exercises in schools, and "The Cold War" days. Same idea, different government.

I know that we all wonder why this is happening.
Yes, there is a reason, but more important is that what was supposed to be hidden has been brought to light early enough that measures could be applied in order to stop what was originally planned.

And most important of all is that God knows the reason, and is in control of this situation.

Have faith, keep on quietly doing what you can to stay safe, keep praying, and rest assured that those who began this pandemic will be called to account by God for the lives that have been harmed or lost.

Don't be distracted by those who cry "Conspiracy Theory", or those who despair and worry about what is happening. Neither side has the foggiest idea what is happening, and it's only their fear that they are giving vent to; not to reality.

But God does know, and we can trust in Him to manage this event.

Stay calm, stay safe, keep on praying. May God bless and protect you in these times.

Nope not as individuals, luckily millions of Americans, and millions of other sovereign- and liberty-minded people around the world are on the same page and ready to fight back when the time comes.

Agreed. and again I am reminded of history, and how events like this were handled in the past, when two groups of people clashed on what was "the best way" to handle civil disagreements, and what action to take on the issues.

Over and over again we have seen that "the best way" usually was:
1. civil,
2. orderly,
3. united,
4. calm resistance.

We've seen that when it came to issues about the civil rights of citizens, those 4 things won the day.
I would like to add four more things that are also necessary to win the battles of faith:
1. prayer.
2. calm
3. faith in God
4. passive resistance.

In a way we can. We can leave blue states and leave the liberal nonsense behind. It is my greatest wish and hope, and my only birthday wish this year that me and mine leave California

This is global and the globalists could care less about right or left. They work above nationalism.

that is true. But lately (within the last 5 or so years) we have seen an increase in groups of people who are fleeing persecution leaving one country to seek shelter in another.
Joseph and Mary did it.

God warned them, and they fled to Egypt with Jesus and stayed there for three years. When their persecutor died, they returned to their own country.
