What's on your mind?

At first I was a bit annoyed having to stay over two more hours at work this morning due to someone forgetting that they had to cover vacation at this time, buuuut .... since it was Erin's crew coming in this morning after my own, at least I was allowed to see how cute the brunette-headed, doe-eyed lass is even when half of her face is covered with a cloth mask.

Wish I could get my nails done before going back to work next week...

I should really spend some time on FB today going through all my thousands of groups I'm in. lol

It's an exaggeration of how many I'm in, but not by much lol I see a FB group and I'm like "oh cool I'll join that one" until I'm in hundreds.

Hardly got any sleep last night.

I love this quote from Jordan B. Peterson. It almost makes reality sound like sci-fi but it’s true! Reality can be bargained with. Putting in work and responsibility now can make the future better.

What do you mean?

Spent some time mulling over Matthew 14 this morning, specifically the feeding of the five thousand. Most immediately think of the miracle Jesus performed in duplicating the loaves of bread and fish supernaturally, but there's another small detail that is often overlooked.

The disciples wanted to send the people away in order to buy something to eat, but Jesus preferred for them to stay. He even went as far as to break the very laws of physics itself in order for that to happen. This shows the depth not only of His power, but His compassion for the people as well. He desired their fellowship as well as to assist them in healing and provision.

It's been said that God is a god of principle, and I can certainly see a principle interwoven into this passage. He doesn't want us to go back to the world in order to find [spiritual] sustenance, but to turn to Him instead. And He is more than able to meet any and all needs we may have.

Guys, how is everyone doing today?

Can you do it yourself? I know I occasionally get gel nails done, but my sister-in-law has her own kit and does it herself and they look amazig!

But, drinking my protein shake and started work this morning.

Haha, I'm not too much of doing my nails in general. I started going regularly after I broke up with my last boyfriend a year and a half ago. I did the whole girl thing, "Treat yo'self" mindset so, I did. I go occasionally now

And, your dog is the cutest!

When I have the money, I’ll do it faithfully every two weeks.... that is Bella and she’s about 6 years old.

Wasn't easy, I'll admit... I didn't accidentally crash the forums for once, it's a miracle.

Yeah, something did seem different about the forums yesterday. Hopefully work hasn't been too hectic lately.

Everyone, I think this is the day. ... if, um ... what I have been yakking my head off here over the last two months is any indication as to what that day entails. She sits across from me this very moment. Please pray for me, that no matter what her response might be, that it will be genial, and I myself will speak only the correct words. I appear to have the Spirit's blessing to do this, so, now's a good a time as it will ever be. So please pray that it turns out okay. I just suddenly feel so nervous, perhaps even afraid ....

Just be confident and stay true to yourself. Even if things don't work out, just remain confident and continue being her friend; she may think about it over time, or someone better may cross your path which you'll be better prepared for from this experience. You're in my prayers SK.
