Tell me about it. I come in here to learn how to flirt and everybody's talking about 'pinpointing change' and flowcharts and non-psychedelic mind expansion (like reading?) and Maslow's hierarchy .

We weren't flirting, but we were a man and a woman having a conversation. Which, in essence, is all you've ever got to do. To be a good conversationalist is 90% of it.

The people who use those banal one liners and bad double entendres are just covering up for the fact that they've got absolutely nothing to say. And they probably realise that they are just THAT boring.

That's sweet! I didn't realize any of this until I started brainstorming. I worked in the mortgage industry during the boom. I devoted 15 minutes each day to brainstorming business ideas. I could flesh it out and diagram without a hitch. I think I'm meant to be a serial entrepreneur. But selling isn't the goal.

It took awhile for me to embrace my creativity or consider myself an artist. I'm more of a visionary. I can see the result and the process of bringing it to fruition and earn a profit. But underneath all that I'm happy being a 'Christian' Martha Stewart and devoting my time to the home and my family's welfare. That's the composite. They're equally fulfilling.

A old phrase I used to use (which still holds true now) is "lack of limitation". We are all created OUT OF perfect knowledge. The knowledge from God, the universe and nature - and all of it ties up into a finely tuned tapestry. Our human body is a perfect example of it; the fact that we all have organs working completely independently without our control is miraculous. And we need to always remember that we ARE the direct byproduct of perfection. And that we all have the power right now to be quite literally anything we want to be, IF we tap into that perfect knowledge.

I try not to put myself into categories for that reason. I mean, I still do it, but I try not to.

Milking cows is a lot of work! I've never done it but I've seen the process. My hands chafe just from the thought of it. Did you grow up on a farm?

No, I was actually born in London to a nurse and a betting shop manager. I chose to farm believe it or not. I'd wear black latex gloves - honestly, the last thing you want is working long hours with wet hands, in the cold.

You're pragmatic enough to pull it off. Because you're a straight talker and cut to the chase. They need tough love that isn't devoid of compassion.

But I can't say I ever wanted to be Jesus. You've got that one all on your own. I'll take a hit. But that's another scale. I couldn't do it. That's why He did.

Now that you've mellowed, would you reconsider your perspective on mentoring men? Maybe your message is meant for a different group. Not the one you considered long ago.

I don't know where my jealousy towards Him comes from - I think it's His humility to be honest. He had it in Him to perform miracles and go ABOVE the law without it getting to His head. He was also 'the guy' to go to for advice on anything. And he'd have he answer. I'm just unmistakably human lol.

Yeah, maybe I'll do mentorship. I just don't know what my demographic would be... Teens and young adults maybe?

I think what he meant is the thread I intended was not what is currently happening, not that he was insinuating you were flirting/not flirting. lol

Which I don't mind at all, I've enjoyed reading the posts in here, but it was originally intended to just be fun/silly. :sorry:

That's up to you :) Like I said I've enjoyed reading the posts y'all have been posting and don't mind a bit. I've always liked threads that mix fun and serious, so it's no bother to me. I was just clarifying what I thought he meant.

A old phrase I used to use (which still holds true now) is "lack of limitation". We are all created OUT OF perfect knowledge. The knowledge from God, the universe and nature - and all of it ties up into a finely tuned tapestry.

Possibilities is my mantra and I believe it. But there's gifting interwoven in my philosophy which allows me to see opportunities and the better side of challenges. Meeting kindred spirits is nice. We're working from a similar perspective. Convincing isn't part of the discussion. Its knowing personified.

And we need to always remember that we ARE the direct byproduct of perfection. And that we all have the power right now to be quite literally anything we want to be, IF we tap into that perfect knowledge.

When you see that manifesting in your life its crazy. After awhile you realize that's the norm you can have if you operate on that frequency and remain rooted in Him. It's the descent that causes the problems and introduces doubt and insecurities.

I try not to put myself into categories for that reason. I mean, I still do it, but I try not to.

Same here. I reinforce the effect by surrounding myself with confidants who share the same perspective. Where can is a constant. That's important in the moments when I fall short.

No, I was actually born in London to a nurse and a betting shop manager. I chose to farm believe it or not. I'd wear black latex gloves - honestly, the last thing you want is working long hours with wet hands, in the cold.

I like the idea of homesteading if someone else does the heavy lifting. The work is never-ending and it would limit my mobility. My time on the farm reiterated a lot of parables. Especially those with agricultural themes. I understood them from a different perspective. More intimately.

Yeah, maybe I'll do mentorship. I just don't know what my demographic would be... Teens and young adults maybe?

Who do you find yourself gravitating to when sharing a thought or an encouraging word? What topics are you addressing? Are they Christian, seeking or unbelievers?

I like helping women in specific areas. Notably relationships and home life. I can frame my message for a Christian audience. But I'm called to the secular one. I experience a different energy and emotion when addressing both. There's a sense of sharing with Christian women. But with others its supportive and influential. I'm impacting them and that's satisfying.

Who evokes a similar emotion in you?

This isn't technically "flirting" but I do enjoy the banter of it. I think overall someone I can banter with is very attractive to me. It shows they're on my level and get my humor.

How not to flirt!

Somethin' Stupid - Frank and Nancy Sinatra

I know I stand in line until you think you have the time
To spend an evening with me
And if we go someplace to dance, I know that there's a chance
You won't be leaving with me
And afterwards we drop into a quiet little place and have a drink or two
And then I go and spoil it all by saying something stupid like "I love you"

I can see it in your eyes
That you despise the same old lies you heard the night before
And though it's just a line to you, for me it's true
And never seemed so right before

I practice every day to find some clever lines to say
To make the meaning come through
But then I think I'll wait until the evening gets late and I'm alone with you
The time is right, your perfume fills my head, the stars get red and, oh, the night's so blue
And then I go and spoil it all by saying something stupid like "I love you"

The time is right, your perfume fills my head, the stars get red and, oh, the night's so blue
And then I go and spoil it all by sayin' something stupid like "I love you"

I love you
I love you
I love you

I love you

Man. I can't for the life of me remember what that awesome Sinatra song was called that I heard a few weeks ago. It doesn't help that his discography is as long as it is from here to cat man do. Finding it would be like picking a needle from a haystack.

If you're looking for trouble
You came to the right place
If you're looking for trouble
Just look right in my face
I was born standing up
And talking back
My daddy was a green-eyed mountain jack
Because i'm evil, my middle name is misery
Well i'm evil, so don't you mess around with me
I've never looked for trouble
But i've never ran
I don't take no orders
From no kind of man
I'm only made out
Of flesh, blood and bone
But if you're gonna start a rumble
Don't you try it on alone
Because i'm evil, my middle name is misery
Well i'm evil, so don't you mess around with me
I'm evil, evil, evil, as can be
I'm evil, evil, evil, as can be
So don't mess around, don't mess around
Don't mess around with me
I'm evil, i'm evil, evil, evil
So don't mess around, don't mess around with me
I'm evil, i tell you i'm evil
So don't mess around with me
Yeah!

I will also try to post a sufficiently relatable flirting meme

iu

Did I do it right

What makes me laugh is this really looks like one of my exes as a child, lol. It makes me giggle every time I've seen this meme.
