I will use the Old Testament Study Guide,Part 1, as an example:

On page 7, the title reads “JEHOVAH IS CHRIST.” The sub-title reads “Jehovah is a God.” This introduces you to the idea that there is at least one other God.

Why did their Jehovah say (Deuteronomy 4:35-39) 35 Unto thee it was shewed, that thou mightest know that the LORD he is God; there is none else beside him. 36 Out of heaven he made thee to hear his voice, that he might instruct thee: and upon earth he shewed thee his great fire; and thou heardest his words out of the midst of the fire. 37 And because he loved thy fathers, therefore he chose their seed after them, and brought thee out in his sight with his mighty power out of Egypt; 38 To drive out nations from before thee greater and mightier than thou art, to bring thee in, to give thee their land for an inheritance, as it is this day. 39 Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the LORD he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else.

Yet Mormons teach that the “Godhead is composed of three Gods.” Are these gods unaware of each other?

Mark 12: 28 And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all? 29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: 30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. 31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. 32 And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he: 33 And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices. 34 And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, he said unto him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God. And no man after that durst ask him any question.

Who will you believe?

Who will you believe?

I believe Jesus's Father, who called Jesus, his Son, a God. God calling his Son God too, then anointing Jesus with the oil of gladness above his (Jesus's) fellows (friends).
Psalm 45:6-7 King James Version (KJV)
6 Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre.
7 Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. (were there other fellow Gods present for this anointing?)

This OT scripture is so important to show the relationship of God the Son to God the Father that it is said again in the NT:
Hebrews 1:8-9 King James Version (KJV)
8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

Same scripture that proves that God saw his Son as a God also, and even called him God. But God the Father was God to, even the God of Jesus the God, and annointed Jesus with the oil of gladness above thy (Jesus's) fellows (could they be called God friends?)

This is who I believe, not Athanasius and his Nicean creed, which you follow.

The God Jesus and his God, God the Father have to be separate and distinct God otherwise Gods the Father would not be able to anoint another God with the oil of gladness.

Why is it surprising that a particular denomination's materials are written in such a fashion to provide support for its theology?

Who will you believe?

I have tried to help people to understand this many times and still people do not understand the covenant that Jesus made with Israel.

(Old Testament | Jeremiah 31:33)

33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

(Old Testament | Jeremiah 30:22)

22 And ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.

(Old Testament | Zechariah 13:9)

9 And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.

(Old Testament | Isaiah 43:11)

11 I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.

Christ is the God of Israel by covenant and their Saviour. Jesus also said:

33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.
34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;
36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?

Your Jehovah-Jesus lied or didn't know he had a father or holy spiriit when he taught Israel. If he did know, he lied!

I only heard a creed recited when a neighbor took me to a United Methodist church when I was fifteen. So you don't know what I follow.

Jehovah did NOT lie. Everything has existed forever in one form or another. As for proof, it is impossible to prove anything to a person that will not believe. Yes Jehovah is the covenant God and Saviour of Israel and there is none else. He alone rescued them from bondage thus becoming their covenant God and Saviour:

I agree that churches print manuals that support their interpretation. But if a non-Christian religion such as Mormonism twists scripture and adds false writings therein lies the problem.

Quoting Bible verses and adding Mormonism to them is not teaching God's word. If a Mormon posts one thousand Bible verses and claims that Mormons study the Bible, they are really saying we are learning how ro use the Bible to promote Mormonism.

We quote Bible verses to promote the truth. Jesus Christ is our Brother and God the Father is His God too:

17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.

(New Testament | Matthew 23:8 - 10)

9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
10 Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.

You didn't even read what I posted. Or you chose not to respond to it.

Jehovah-Jesus certainly in not going to lie. And he does not need to mention the Father and the Holy Spirit every time he speaks. They are one in purpose and in unity. If it were the Father speaking he would say the same thing. If it were the Holy Spirit speaking he would say the same thing. One in purpose and unity. 3 separate and distinct Gods.

Jehovah-Jesus is just showing the power and authority that he has to create and control this earth. God, his Father gave him this authority and is letting him be the front man for the Godhead. Nothing wrong with that.

Jehovah-Jesus and God the Father and the Holy Spirit are so one in their purpose and unity that Jehovah-Jesus can even make the statement that there are no other Gods beside him.
Because he is calling the shots and they are so just like what God the Father and the Holy Spirit would do, they let him. Even to say, there are no other gods beside him.

There are of course, but because they are so one, it is as if there is but 1 God, even though there are 3.
