Please answer. I got blasphemy thought while I pray.

I was so stress and anxious about blasphemy thought in my head. Then,I ask god for forgiveness.I pray and explain everything in my prayer what I feel. Suddenly,It feel like I so tired to faced the problem.It feel likes everything is hopeless.So I think I get a blasphemy thought while I pray. I just tired of all intrusive thought I get. It feel likes I know that after I commit one intrusive thought,I ask for forgiveness.And then,I will have another intrusive thought.It just a terrible loop. Right after I have that thought,I ask for his forgiveness.But, I feel very bad because I feel like that thought we’re actually mine in someway. Do you think if It actaually my intentional blasphemy thought while I pray,Do I have any hope that god would forgive me? It actually feel like I told god not a pop up thought.In someway,My mind convinced me that I believe that blasphemy thought in a second. Have anyone with religious ocd experience the similar things?

Awful! That’s the enemy who doesn’t like u praying or close to God, and trying to discourage you. Then keep on praying all the more. Do it aloud and keep going. Tell it to close it’s mouth and be gone! I had a strange episode when I would go to close my eyes to sleep, and would see different faces of people faintly....so I would rebuke them in the Name of Jesus. They kept on.... so I kept on, and I began to focus keenly on scripture and began meditating until it stopped. I have Power in the name of Jesus!.. I began to say. When you feel nothing happens after you quote scripture and it tries to keep on, i would say, Oh well, I KNOW the WORD OF GOD is right anyway. I said, whatever, i believe anyway, and that’s when it left!

You can counter those thoughts with the Word of God. You can say PRAISE THE NAME OF JESUS WHO HAS ALL POWER IN HEAVEN AND EARTH! I would counter it with a good and powerful scripture until those thoughts leave. Push them out with the Word. Gods word has more power!

..... Praise you Lord that you DO answer prayer and that you have ALL power! I pray you deliver Grace and clear her mind from such thoughts the enemy would try to inject on her. And that you’ve given us power over ALL the power of the enemy. Let your Holy Spirit manifest so the wicked one flees! We worship you LORD, OUR MIGHTY GOD and PERFECT SAVIOR! Let your Word reign in her heart, mind and thoughts as she meditates powerfully in your Word so that it chases the bad thoughts far farrrrrr away, never to return, in the Mighty SAVING name of Jesus Christ!

I'm still learning, but I'd have to say that if the thoughts are unwanted and not coming from your conscious thoughts (not choosing to think them), then this isn't your fault, rather from the devil. Don't fear these thoughts, just try to remember that God loves you and ask forgiveness for your sins. The fact you're worried about it and want to reconcile these thoughts are a sign that you're moving in the right direction.

I believe that if you truly seek forgiveness from God, then this wasn't blasphemy how you see it. Just my thought.

Thanks for your reply. I just so confused right now. I don’t know that does it come from ocd or me, but it just feel so real. I just afraid that it actually mine. I will try to seek god more. God bless you!

Its FEAR that’s trying to freak you out. God knows you are under attack and he KNOWS how much it bothers you. Your FAITH in God needs to be stronger than this pestering fear, that makes you tremble in fear that you somehow again and again have offended God.

Get GROUNDED and CONFIDENT IN FAITH of just how much God LOVES YOU.
For God SOOOOOO LOVED the world, He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him, should not perish, but have everlasting life.
It will push that fear right OUT the door. The Bible says in 1 John...PERFECT LOVE CASTS OUT FEAR. He that fears is not made perfect in Love, because fear has to do with judgment. ....terrified of Gods judgment. It’s talking about Gods love there, his PERFECT LOVE FOR YOU. PERFECT YOURSELF IN KNOWING HOW GREAT HIS LOVE IS and don’t be moved from it! He isn’t watching, ready to catch you doing something wrong, like AH HA! You will NO longer fear when you know just how much God really, really Loves you.

Do you understand that Jesus Christ died and paid your penalty for sin? He knew that WE deserved to die for our sins, but he took YOUR and MY punishment. He rose in power from the dead, to give you ETERNAL LIFE. A GIFT from God...a Promise to YOU that you will NOT perish, but have Everlasting Life.
If you call on the Name of Jesus to save you, he will! There is salvation and power in his name!

FEAR is being afraid, while FAITH is total confidence. Two opposites. How many times did he rebuke the disciples saying, Oh ye of little faith? God doesn’t want you to be worrying about Him all the time, to spend your life afraid, back and forth wondering if you will ever be acceptable.
HE WANTS YOUR FAITH TO BE STEADFAST IN THE FACT THAT HE SENT HIS SON TO GIVE YOU ETERNAL LIFE. Stop being afraid period. KNOW God loves you. That fear is lying to you and trying to scare the heck out of you that your relationship is ruined with God. Tell it to hit the road. Please get to to a gospel preaching, bible believing church where others can encourage you and stand with you to build you up in faith and pray for you.

I feel little better now.I means I feel better now but many times my thought convinced me that those word not for people who commit unpardonable sin and it convinced me that I commit it. But I knows God will forgive me either I commit it or not,If I faithfully ask his forgiveness. But now, it just like this 2 thoughts fight each other in my head. Of course, it’s LYING to you trying to convince you that you’ve done it and your screwed! They are lying thoughts from the wicked one.... it’s meant to keep you forever questioning your relationship with God! You’re dealing with a liar! Of course God will forgive you! That’s what the enemy detests! When you get built up in the Gospel and what Christ did for you, you will KNOWWWW and no longer allow the enemy to bully you. He’s tossing you around like a rag and trying to scare you, bully and intimidate you. Your faith is being tested to the very core.

When i get a little ocd and fear tries to get me, here is a typical scenario of the thought and my own response to shut it down.......I counter it with the Word of God. For it is written...!

Thought says...You didnt pray long enough or good enough, God is sooooo displeased with you!
My response.....nope! I prayed in faith and the Word says God is PLEASED with faith.

Thought....God is no good, he doesnt even care
My Response....Gods word says HE IS GOOD and kind and merciful and he DOES CARE.

Thought.... You cant be saved and get to heaven. Look what you just did!
My Response.... FACT....The blood of Jesus cleanses from ALL sin! I am saved by what Jesus did for me when he died and rose. And NOTHING can take his salvation away from me!

Ephesians 6 shows us to put on the armor of God in the time of battle. Part of that armor is the HELMET OF SALVATION because thoughts that try to attack, try to go after your salvation to convince you that you have blown it and therefore wont be saved.

Liar, liar, pants on fire. NO intruding thought can separate from from the Love of God in Christ Jesus!

FACT he died for my sins, to purchase me as HIS, and I BELIEVE HIM over ANY thought that would tell me it isnt so.

So I think I intentional blasphemy him which I really not want to but I just don’t know why I do that. I really hate the thought. Will god forgive me? I mean I think I do it with anger.

God understands your condition much better you do.

I hope that Romans 7:15-25 would offer some comfort. Scripture tells that our flesh and mind are at a war but God is gracious.

Bring all your emotions and issues to God. He is our loving Father.

Hi OP, i'm sorry to hear you have this problem.

But what if it's not from the devil but from yourself?
From what i read from other people with OCD, it's the anxiety and stress that causes it.
So could it be that you are anxious to pray in the perfect way, but your imperfect self gets in the way, which causes stress and more anxiety?

The solution may be simple:
Don't worry about how you pray.
God knows we are only human and He knows you have OCD too.
God knows you seek Him, which is the only important thing.
I believe He understands that people are sometimes angry at Him, because life is hard.
It is more important to be honest than to act holy.

Have you called on the name of Jesus, believing he died for your sins and rose again? And asked God to FILL you with His Holy Spirit? When you have the Holy Spirit you, you have the power of God indwelling you.

Remember he said in 2 Timothy 1.7...
I have not given you a spirit of fear, but i gave given you a SPIRIT OF POWER, of love, and a SOUND MIND. Dont get mad at God,,,,because He is thr one who HAS GIVEN YOU (past tense!!) A SPIRIT OF POWERRRRRRRR.
Something that tries to use its power to hurt you? Does ANYTHING or ANYONE have MORE power than God? No!

He said, I HAVE GIVEN YOU A SPIRIT OF POWER!
thats the HOLY SPIRIT! now who has more power? YOU DO! by His Holy Spirit living in you.
When you realize and understand just what God did for you in sending His Son and giving you the Holy Spirit, you wont get tossed around wondering where God is. So dont let the thoughts bully you. They want you to THINK they have power over you, but they do not! No one has more power than God, and if the Holy Spirit dwells IN you, its YOUUUUU who has power over it!
