At present my favorite is hot black tea with milk and sugar. My favorite teabags I have also has other spices in it.
Coffee is tolerable if it’s just a drizzle of coffee in a cup of hot chocolate (then all that put over ice). Or in a frappuccino with lots of caramel hiding the flavor of coffee.

Most of the time I just drink herbal teas and hot chocolate when it comes to hot drinks, or water when it comes to cool drinks. ^_^

Morning coffee always just black, but if someone offers me an after dinner coffee with some liqueur like Kahlúa, I won't say no. :)

Hot tea in winter, nothing added. Iced tea in summer, no sugar, but always with lemon unless for variety I make it with cinnamon sticks or another fruit like peaches.

My Dad loved cigars, and he always liked one with coffee too lol So that really struck me reading that.

The pairing is quite the revelation when you first experience it. The two aromas - though strong, seem to cancel each other out. So you don't end up with a tarry mouth or a bitter tongue.

I usually take those 'strikes' as loved ones letting us know that they're okay.

Right, for tea I put down Hot and with "Cream" as there is no "milk" option, unless I am missing something and Americans call all milk "cream", and I prefer me milk to be semi-skimmed.

On the off chance I have a coffee, rather than tea, its Hot, with Sugar (Prefer brown/demerara if I have a choice) and "cream", but by cream I mean coffee whitener or if having somet upmarket, steamed milk.

Me Mam, makes some right dodgy thick coffee, but she is Kosovan Albanian, its a whole cultural thing, more than just a drink really.

That being said, you could say same about the Tea drinking on the Fathers, English side of my family, drinking the tea is almost a sign of manhood to my fathers lot, the life blood of the working classes and Tradesmen! (Or the romanticized ideal of such).

I should have put Milk/Cream because technically they are different and there's even "creamer", which is different too. lol Milk is milk, cream is heavy cream, creamer can be a lot of things.

I wouldn't mind trying the thick coffee, that sounds pretty good. :)

I'm a coffee addict... if there were a club, I'd be President of it, lol. I usually drink it black, but occasionally I'll put cream or milk in it. I don't usually put sugar in it because I don't like the sweet taste of it like that.

I like tea only black.

Both hot btw

...........You must not be from the south. :p lol Just kidding. :satisfied:
Yes. Have lived deep in the heart of Dixie for fifty six years. Just like unsweet tea. Tea either needs to be sweet or completely unsweet. In between is just bad. There is no compromise, either one way or the other. But. . . Sweet tea does not need to be made to the hummingbird water recipe, either.
