I have always advocated for multiple underwater cities.

Besides all the available space, there would be ample exposure to to the environment, which people would stop stop pooping in if they lived there. And unlike Mars, there is oxygen, water, and even the fastest internet connections in the entire Cosmos! More inappropriate content than you can shake a stick at.

America's poop does stink, as evidenced by the widespread coronavirus, and other infections, rate (odorless poop is an indicator of good digestive health and thus a healthy immune system).

No, what we need to do instead, is to find a market for the plastic, and then make harvesting the plastic as profitable as fishing already is.

If we did that, the fishing fleets already existent could convert to harvesting plastic.
