Ordered Jeni’s! :happyblush:

The Frosé (frozen rosé wine sorbet) is divine! That’s dessert.

I'm literally just staring out with a bicycle driven hotdog cart. I live in one of those, like, alternative and like, progressive cities? Where everyone is like, so green? And everything is, like, a question? So I'm tailoring to my demographic.

Plus, minimising costs means I can knock out the hotdogs very cheaply. No one else seems to be using the bicycle method, they're either using big, fuel guzzling trucks or they're using hybrid vehicles. (Still massive costs involved with those vehicles though.)

It's just something to have a bit of fun with - I'm hoping to pass it on to my youngest cousin eventually. I want to work up to a ramen shack or a bespoke burger joint. THEN I'll pass that on too.

Progressive... will you need a sidecar for the gluten-free buns, meat-free sausages, dairy-free cheese and so on :p?

That sounds awesome - I hope we get to hear updates (and see pictures of hotdogs). That's really exciting

I was too hungry! ️
I'll let it slide.....this time......

Do they go hand grabbing for catfish.

They go hand grabbing for people who are catfishing ;) haha.

You can't leave us hanging like this.

What kid of pizza?

Mexican food is my weakness, haha. Thai is really good too; I have Thai family members (long story) who make it homemade whenever we have family events.

Sushi is epic. California rolls, seaweed... :swoon:Greek and Middle Eastern cuisine is also really good...can't beat gyro.
Sushi is amaaaaazing. I had to celebrate my birthday during the shut down and my plan was to go grab sushi. So, I went over to my parents and my Mom made sushi bowls. De-li-cious. Do you eat it raw?

You'll get brownie points if you do.

I need to know about your Thai family members and adopt them as my own.

YES, gyro is the greatest. I am making Mediterranean food for my Mom for Mother's Day this Sunday. I'll be heading over to my brother's place and we'll be cooking it for her. It's her favorite.

What's interesting about this is that I'm actually going to start up a street food business this year - well, I should say eventually because THIS year will be rife with restrictions I should think. But that's the plan.

So perhaps this fantasy is not such an unrealistic reality. It's always better to do business with people that you don't know that well.

"Atlantic Burgers" - coming September 2023?
I promise, I'll be a great business partner - I come with puns, coffee, and.....memes.

That is pretty cool about that adventure in your life :) What's the timeline for this thing to happen?

Ordered Jeni’s! :happyblush:

GRL, PLZ.

I need this right now.

Sometimes I think that you and I are not on the same planet. Or at least, not on the same side of the planet. ;)
Where's your research to back up your claim, hmmmm?

Some stores carry her products. I have a shop in my area. I took a chance and called to see if they were open. If you have an ice cream maker it’s more economical to make it at home. At $12 a pint you’d have more doing it yourself.

For us being on different sides of the planet? I used your stated location (I assume it is accurate), my own location, and a plastic globe.

I take research seriously, you know. ;)

No, no, no.

Research to back up your claim that we should reheat leftover pizza, assuming you disagree with me ;)

My exact words were "Sometimes I think that you and I are not on the same planet. Or at least, not on the same side of the planet."

I made no actual claim, nor would I be so impolite as to disagree with you. :)

I forgo convenience in certain areas for the pleasure effort and patience add to the experience. I can make a quick cup of coffee or have a latte with grass-fed milk (with a layer of cream on top) with homemade vanilla, organic espresso and mocha flavored ice cubes. The second option turns an ordinary practice into an indulgence. That’s worth coming home to.

If the grass fed milk is raw, that is a the way to go. But if not at least it is grass fed.

I don’t want raw milk. It’s illegal here and you have to pick it up at the farm or designated location. The milk I drink is modestly pasteurized and that’s fine.

Do you follow a specific eating plan or philosophy?

Philosophy I believe The healthier you are the less you have to eat. So after i eat say around 5:30, 6 or 7, i try to make that my last food for that day.
A decent breakfast, small lunch, then a decent supper. I really eat for health and not so much for these great fine meals (which can be healthy)

Not a specific plan and except for a 21 hour fast every Tuesday night 6 or 7 pm to 4 pm Wednesday
As much orgainc as i can get (being in Ms, in a small town that can be a search) unless you grow it yourself.

I eat as much fish as i can four to five times a week broiled or blackened, and sometime fried, occasional grass fed beef. vegetables

A lot of fruit, Raw cacao 100%, sugar: honey, real maple syrup , salts pink himalayan sea salt or
Seasonello Fine Sea Salt by Caber with iodine.

At 55 i take no pills (pharmaceuticals) only time to the doctor since 2008 (before i started considering healthy eating) was to repair a torn bicep tendon in 2018 summer.

And a few supplements especially to get minerals, only water i drink is raw water from a natural spring a few miles from my home, keep in gallon glass jars ( i hate plastic)

But i really have no set schedule.

I’ve noticed a correlation between quality and consumption. Better food sates the body quicker than items full of fat, salt and sugar. I recall a caramel that was really delectable. A buttery creaminess with a vanilla finish. But two was my max. I was satisfied with a small portion. I’ve tested the theory on other items. The results were the same.

So after i eat say around 5:30, 6 or 7, i try to make that my last food for that day.

That is similar to the French approach. A modest breakfast, generous lunch (medium-sized), and a light dinner. No snacks. They drink a lot of water, walk frequently and don’t embrace overeating.

I really eat for health and not so much for these great fine meals (which can be healthy)

Taste and production (non-toxic) are the barometers. My palate is happy when I feed it well. But my diet is lighter too. I don’t eat rib sticking dishes. I prefer modest fullness. Not the sort that makes me want to combust if I move an inch.

Not a specific plan and except for a 21 hour fast every Tuesday night 6 or 7 pm to 4 pm Wednesday

I used to fast every Friday for several years. But I haven’t done it in awhile. I don’t feel a stirring to do so. Your diligence is admirable.

I eat as much fish as i can four to five times a week broiled or blackened, and sometime fried, occasional grass fed beef. vegetables

I like certain fish and shellfish a great deal. I found a service that delivers. We’d have it once or twice per week based on portions. In the warmer months my hunger wanes. I can muster two meals per day. But sometimes I only have one if I’m busy.

A lot of fruit, Raw cacao 100%, sugar: honey, real maple syrup , salts pink himalayan sea salt or
Seasonello Fine Sea Salt by Caber with iodine.

Our pantries sound the same.

At 55 i take no pills (pharmaceuticals) only time to the doctor since 2008 (before i started considering healthy eating) was to repair a torn bicep tendon in 2018 summer.

That’s wonderful! I prefer natural remedies. I’m rarely under the weather due to limited exposure and a green home. A healthy environment really helps.

And a few supplements especially to get minerals, only water i drink is raw water from a natural spring a few miles from my home, keep in gallon glass jars ( i hate plastic)

We drink a lot of water. I have it delivered. We have sparkling water on occasion. I’ll make Italian sodas with homemade syrup or British style ginger beer in large batches. I enjoy tea and make sun tea when its warmer.
I don’t like soda and never buy it. It messes with your palate and makes you crave sugar.

It sounds like our lifestyles are similar. :)

I'll take those points because I most certainly do. Sometimes I get cooked sushi at my local store, but I prefer the raw stuff they serve at the Chinese restaurants. I enjoy the pickled ginger root they serve with it too.

Oh you can have them, they're been known to cause trouble haha. Just kidding (kinda). But yeah, they cook up a storm, and they always seem to change it up each time.

She has good taste. Are ye a fan of Indian food, by any chance?

Honestly, @RayofSun and I probably have the same eating habits when it comes to having chicken for breakfast, haha.

Real question is, have you had LEFTOVER pizza for breakfast?

Holy goodness.

Excuse me while I lick the drool off of my computer screen.....

Not cool.

Not cool at all.

I will personally track you down and take this right out of your hands.

Green Grapes
My favorite.

Have you ever put them in the freezer and then have them on a hot day?
No I havent but that does sound good.

Favorite raw sushi....go :)

Pfft, am I a fan of Indian food? Of course. Not too much into the spiciness, though. I become quite the baby.

What about you? What's the level of spiciness you can handle?
