Do you see God's hand in this Pandemic?

I get that many people see this virus leading to the mark of the beast. But that is done as a last ditch attempt to prevent total economic collapse of the world's economy. If you read the thread on "let's talk about economic collapse" I have gone into detail on a point by point basis why this collapse will be on par if not worse than the great depression. It seems highly unlikely to me that the powers that be would intentionally do this to themselves. For example we are seeing the total collapse of the US oil industry, how did they get US leaders to agree to that? It was just a few years ago with Reagan and Cheney that we felt the oil industry was running the US.

I was sick with it. My cousin is about to die from it. I live in NYC, Queens, which apparently is the epicenter of this. I have been home since March 13th and for all but two of those days it seemed like I heard ambulances running non stop, morning, noon and night.

So what do you mean you don't believe the virus is real?

26 A troubled fountain, and a defiled well, is a righteous [man] that giveth way before the wicked.

I think one area we can all agree with is that during the last days, during any days actually, we don't want to give way before the wicked. Yes, there will be pressure put on you to get the mark of the beast but just know, all the true believers will stand with you against Satan and the Beast.

I think it is a very big signal before the Lord's coming, but "the Great first signal" would have to be the son of perdition claiming to be God and sitting in the Temple. Paul makes it clear the Lord's coming does not precede this event. Another great signal is the return of Israel. I would think those are the two "great" signals of the Lord's coming.
