Prayers please - a fall

I fell in the garden about an hour ago

The left side of my face is battered - I've possibly broken my left cheek bone judging from the swelling , various other scratches and scrapes and of course my glasses are broken

Optician is shut because of the lockdown and I don't have a copy of my prescription though I do have my Sunglasses [ same prescription ]

Could do with some prayers please

Even allowing for a swollen cheek bone [ and the bruising is becoming evident now ] I doubt if anything could be done

In myself I feel fine , my vision is OK - I've no headache , I'm not dizzy and indeed I'm not in pain though my cheek is a bit stiff and sore.

Everything else works as it should AND I've even managed to find my last pair of 'ordinary - i.e. not dark ] glasses and they have gone on without a problem so the swelling can't be that bad.

I'll be glad when the various scrapes have dried up.

Absolutely no signs of concussion - no headache , I'm not dizzy, wasn't confused when it happened , minimal discomfort - and what I have is not needing any analgesia.

Apart from my broken glasses [ which will be expensive to replace] the worst thing is the bruising under my eye. I've had a piccie taken and believe me - it's scary

Remember folk - I'm in the UK - things are different here.

I've enough knowledge [I'm a retired RN ] to know in this case what I'm doing.

I've been absolutely fine this afternoon - been talking and behaving as normal - no dizziness , no headache , no visual problems and I've had my evening meal.

OK - I've a nice bruise under my eye - the swelling is virtually all gone , and I think that most of the damage was caused by my glasses

I'm just going to take life quietly , and wait for the bruising to settle down [ it's spectacular ]

To all - thank you for your prayers - I feel a right idiot after this accident

For me it was a great help at this particular time - I'm safer at home rather than trying to go to A&E [ Emergency ] particularly as my glasses are broken so driving would have been a BIG problem
