Yeah he got the media good on that one...and they fell right into that trap...ran with it like the mockingbird media do...I laughed so hard when I heard them just hang onto that one thing he said...and it was also noted that Dr Brix didn't seem to pleased with all the things the POTUS highlighted as possible treatments...althougth...as some may not know...disinfectents ARE used in vaccines...

I heard that the POTUS came out today and admitted to his little media test...just to see what they would do...hilarious.
So his plan was to make himself look like an idiot, in order to...what?

It'll never cease to amaze me how Trump has some of you thinking that he's some kind of Machiavellian genius.

Well the media ran like little mice to spill the beans...For the POTUS it was all about exposing their bias...and they misquoted him to boot...but you guys never get his humour anyway...so ultimately it depends on whose camp you're in as to who the idiot is...LOL

Their bias towards what, not supporting something as absurd as injecting disinfectants that are not even meant for topical application?

So you missed it when they said the POTUS advised drinking it and that he advised injecting it...his exact words you posted yourself as ideas for research...I had a great laugh over the media's twist on it and the response from Lysol...which wasn't even mentioned at all...makes their ridiculous statement...also very funny...some just don't have a sense of humour.

Never thought I'd EVER use scripture to make a point but...

‘Gotcha’? How do you give yourself a ‘gotcha’ moment?

They did not do gotcha on themselves. They twisted what Trump completely out of context to make it sound like he said something that he did not say.

I provided that exact statements of what Trump said in video and transcript. I challenge any Trump-hater to show from this that Trump said that anyone should inject disinfectant into his body.

Nobody even asked him a question, he just tripped himself up. How incompetent do you have to be to fall into a trap that doesn’t even exist?

He never said that!

You Trump-haters must decide what Trump is. First, you guys say that he is so clever that he was able to steal the election from Hillary. Now, you say that he think that one can inject himself with disinfectant. So which is it? Is he clever or stupid?

Look, bottom line - the President of the United States, the most powerful man in the world, posed a question that most twelve year olds would know better than to ask. Some of us find that quite distressing.

And yet we are supposed to believe than this imbecile with a brain less than a twelve-year-old was able to collude with Russian and Ukrane to steal an election? Something that Obama said was impossible to do?

Well it's wonderful if this got you to do so...please continue to read your Biblie...it's meant to be taken as a whole...or things can easily be taken out of context...and here's mine

Ephesians 6:12

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

How were Trump's idiotic suggestions a trap? And you need to prove that disinfectants are used in vaccines. You probably misunderstood your source. But even more important, how were Trump's idiotic questions, statements, suggestions, call them what you like a trap?

I need to try that trap too.

Go into public, punch myself in the face, then laugh at any people calling me crazy.

That will show them who's crazy.

Well you see he and many others knew what they would do and they did...which I pointed out earlier in this thread...to show their bias and it worked...they took the bait hook line and sinker...what a hoot LOL.

No I don't have to prove anything that's public knowledge...it's up to individuals to be informed of what they agree to put into their bodies.

Incorrect. Trump merely showed that he was unbelievably ignorant again. His own followers took him seriously and called in to ask about this. You need to support your claims. Until you do you are supporting the claim that he proved himself to be unbelievably ignorant once again.

But when one's leader is so incompetent one has to make up all sorts of excuses. Excuses that sound almost as uneducated as Trump's own claims and suggestions.

It's interesting the way The Hill worded that. Yes, the warning was issued AFTER the President made his remarks. It was also after he had dinner, I'd suppose. It came later in time.

But of course the reader was supposed to think that it came IN RESPONSE TO the President's remarks.

What the manufacturer of Lysol actually said, however, was that it was issuing its statement “due to recent speculation and social media activity,”

While looking at the medical people for some kind of medical approval..? No, there's no evidence that he was being sarcastic.
The only mistake that I think he made in mentioning using a disinfectant.. was that he wasn't clear enough in what he was actually talking about, so everyone assumed the wrong thing.

He was talking about disinfectants that can kill the virus ‘in a minute’. That’s a 70% alcohol solution or chlorine bleach, if not some other more specialised nasty no-one should ever ingest (or inject).

Hold on a second. Are we now supposed to have warnings before Trump makes a speech? And they probably did not think that Trump followers would be so ignorant as to take his claims seriously. That they had to warn Trump followers tells us quite a bit about them.

Hmm, your implication does have merit. Before any Trump news conference, public briefings, or even speeches there should be a header warning people of likely foolish and dangerous content. I can live with that until November.

That was to be injected into the body. His own words.

That’s the best idea I’ve heard since 2016. We need those warnings sometimes, a gym I used to go to had a ‘do not place your head between weight stacks’ warning. You never know when someone might take Trumpus seriously.

No smarts required on the collusion. Russia gave the nudge and wink and did all the background work, Trump grudgingly accepted it then managed to convince himself he won without any supporting misinformation campaigns. More of a passive role.
