Yes, in some areas they are still going on and people know there is not much they can do if they fine them they have the right to show up to court and contest it ( lots of people in the courthouse if they arrest them and take them to jail well so much for social distencing in jails, so the law is in those cases of non-violent protests really not left with many options that make sense and do not defeat the point of social distencing.
But a vaccine ( if one is developed can take months) People are already protesting people are NOT going to stay locked-down for that long.

I hate to tell you but between the various other ways people would die if the economy went that far south ( made a post listing those earlier) and the outright violence that would happen from being that angry and stir crazy I would not be shocked if more people died from that long a lock-down than this virus.
