Jesus paid our soul ransom in Full!
In ancient times,
the children of Israel.
Had to give a ransom,
for their souls to God.
This needed to be done,
when they were numbered.
Half a shekel had to be given,
as a offering to the LORD.
This was all a picture,
of the One to still come.
Who would pay our ransoms,
for once and for all!
Giving Himself as a sacrifice for us,
having all our sins burnt upon Him.
Who willingly became,
our sin offering upon the altar made for us.
An altar made of wood,
formed as a cross.
The most beautiful altar ever made,
where He sacrificed Himself for us.
Giving up His own will,
and giving up His own life.
So that He could obey the Father,
doing His will and not his own.
He obeyed His Father,
even to the point of death.
Living His own life,
wasn't more important to Him than doing what the Father wanted.
He willingly obeyed,
so that we all could get saved.
He willingly suffered a death on the cross,
so that we all could get free through Him.
Free from God's wrath,
free from God's punishment for our sins debt.
And given eternal life,
through His Son Jesus Christ.

"And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
When thou takest the sum of the children of Israel after their number, then shall they give every man a ransom for his soul unto the LORD, when thou numberest them; that there be no plague among them, when thou numberest them.
This they shall give, every one that passeth among them that are numbered, half a shekel after the shekel of the sanctuary: (a shekel is twenty gerahs: )an half shekel shall be the offering of the LORD. " (Exodus 30:11-13)
