Yes. The virus was rapidly spreading in China and beginning in other countries and they still denied human to human transmission. It was not until one and two weeks later other countries confirmed community spread did they change from this position.

Why didn’t WHO verify the CCP information? Was it maybe the WHO was not allowed in China before the second week of February?

Trump spoke to Xi today and it was a threat. But the bubble heads in the media missed it and just wanted to ask what everyone already knew. We all heard Trump act diplomatically towards Xi before he had Xi over a barrel. He has Xi over a barrel now. It is a good employment of diplomacy when one is uncertain and now a good employment of national power when there is more certainty.

Ask the question why Trump kept avoiding the bubble gum question and kept speaking of the trade agreement.

How would they do that?

I admit, I’m not an expert, but I’m of the understanding that they don’t have any authority in sovereign countries - they work with them, but ultimately, they can only go off the information they’re given. If the Chinese don’t want them knowing something, that’s hard cheese.

Don’t know what that means but I did not disagree with the fact Trump praised Xi until recently. What is failing to compute with the media is the reason why. Do you really think it has to do with the NYT or WashPo coming out with editorials saying “well maybe China lied.”

No he and everyone else observing what actually happened realized China lied and the WHO parroted the lie, well except for some media sources.

So the question is if Trump, Fauci, Birx and the NSC already knew the data from China was bunk, why praise Xi? Answer is because short of bombing Beijing, there was nothing we could do.

However, now that the trade agreement with China entered into effect, we have a tool of national power to hold China accountable. The WHO defunding was a warning. The amount of time Trump spent discussing the trade agreement was a threat.

Ok so to be Captain Obvious Trump is desperate to scapegoat others bc he wants to distract from his huge failures with this pandemic.

Just looking back at threads here where ppl scoffed about any talk about how it was going to be a global health crisis & made nonstop posts about the flu to downplay shows how much impact he had on ppl's minds & readiness.
