There are more Europeans who like Trump than you're letting on, if the results of European elections tell us anything. Europe's technocratic class don't like him; in that sense they're no different from their American counterparts.
Sure, there are Europeans that like Trump. There are way more who don't (the Dutch Trump was soundly defeated in the last election).

Also, the people protesting in the streets when he shows up are not part of the "technocratic class". They are normal, hardworking people, like my cousins, who think he's a lying, racist, misogynistic, narcissistic, bloviating buffoon who's a danger to the world.

Further, you seem to think that having decisions made by the people who are experts in what it is they are making a decision about is a bad thing, i.e. have someone who actually knows something about pandemics make the decisions about what to do, instead of a guy who's only real medical experience was getting someone to diagnose his "bone spurs".

Quoted for truth. I frequently ask Trump supporters this question: Do you realize that 10 or 20 years from now, you will need to explain (e.g. to grandchildren) why you supported this sham of a chief executive? Are you not at all concerned with how this will make you look?

In saying this, I acknowledge that, in many cases, voting for Trump may have sprung from good intentions. But now that we see him in office, the honourable course is to fall on your sword - admit that he is unqualified and needs to be sent back to the world of reality TV. Yes, it will be humbling for you in the short term. But sticking by him is surely going to damage your reputation in the future when historians look back and try to explain this bizarre convulsion of American history.

Of course, this is in stark contrast to Trump's dishonest campaign claim that he would eliminate the federal debt (not just the deficit). Not only has he not delivered on his promise, but even in his "booming" economy, he exacerbated the problem.

Trump's nonsense claim that he would eliminate debt was initially made in an interview with the Washington Post:

https://www.washingtonpost.com/poli...ba21f33_story.html?postshare=5311459637938733

Then,t he doubled down on it in this interview with Bill O'Reilly. At 5:30 he makes the absurd claim "we would pay it back so easily"

But yes, he's such an honest, "tell it like it is" businessman, and we're doing so much winning.

Please.
And now the NATIONAL DEBT to GDP ratio is accelerating past 110.45% and the TOTAL DEBT to GDP ratio past 125.53%, and by 2024 the national debt is now predicted to be ~$35 trillion and the budget deficit to be ~$3 trillion.

What happened when Trump came on to the scene is permanent. The world that Trump is a danger to - the world that you're holding on to - no longer exists.

Are you suggesting that Donald is now harmless?

You didn't answer my question. See I'm trying to decide if you were merely crying wolf or if I really did attack someone so I can, well you know. :)

"Crying Wolf" means to raise a false alarm. Clearly you never read the story let alone understand the saying.

I clearly stated I was referring to hi supporters in general and not specifically you. Numerous people here have pointed out you make no attempt to justify your views and refuse to listen. What you are doing is a classic attempt to deflect. If you can't justify your views then avoid political forums.

I sincerely hope you’re wrong, because if a world of decency, humility and honesty no longer exists then there’s not much point in anything.

Either they no longer exist, or they no longer matter. Either way, they explain Donald's popularity among evangelicals: the pressure for good behavior is off.

I’m sure those demands will come flooding back about 5 seconds after he leaves office.

He was probably distracted by getting rid of crime in Chicago. Oh, no, wait he said he had a quick plan for that one as well - Trump now says mystery cop claimed he could fix Chicago crime ‘immediately'
Maybe it was all the time he wasted failing to replace the ACA with something better? After all, no one knew health care would be so complicated.

Keep in mind, he did keep all his campaign promises. In fact, he even kept more than he made.

Odd, I have yet to see a Trump medical plan. I have not seen Mexico pay for a wall -- and he's only built (or has plans for) about 100 miles of wall; my recollection is that there is still no plan for the other 1,300 miles of wall. He's done nothing to improve infrastructure -- other than one meeting with Congressional leadership that he walked out of before the meeting started. Last, there was is promise to pay off the national debt, instead he has doubled the annual deficit, and almost tripled, compared to the deficit in Obama's last year.

Trump hasn't come close to keeping his campaign promises.

Sooner -- they are demanded of anyone who dares stand up to him.

Oh to be a fly on the wall to watch Him have another melt down and hit the panic buttons as the NATIONAL DEBT to GDP ratio hits 110.94% just a day later and now predicted to hit 153.67% by 2024.

You conservatives have had YEARS to investigate her, and have done so MULTIPLE times. You have someone in the White House who would LOVE to lock her up, and a lap dog heading up DOJ that would do so in an instant if he could.

You guys could have been cataloging her lies just as easily as the the Toronto Star, the Washington Post, Wikipedia, etc. have been documented Trump's lies. You could have been broadcasting news about Clinton's extramarital affairs, dealings with sex workers, sexual assaults of underage children, bankruptcies, stealing from charitable foundations for kids with cancer, etc. just as frequently as the GLOBAL news organizations have about Trump.

If that hasn't happened, blame your own incompetence.

Like I'm supposed to be the spokesperson for all conservatives?

I can't speak for other Christians, but I don't want that man representing me and my Christian faith.

Trump Used Asian Accent to Mock US Allies at Fundraiser

Trump on rally protester: ‘Maybe he should have been roughed up’

Man whom Trump mocked as overweight at N.H. rally was a supporter

He called Haiti and El Salvador (and other African countries) [bleep]hole countries.

He called his inappropriate content star mistress a horse face after she spoke out against him in public.

He has repeatedly mocked and disparaged Senator Elizabeth Warren by calling her Pocahontas.

He encouraged his supporters to "knock the crap out" of protestors and he'd pay their legal fees.

And I don't blame you. Unfortunately, Mother Teresa and Francis of Assisi aren't running, so there may not be a perfect person in line. Biden's out. That's obvious. And if you think of voting third party, people will scorn you for "throwing your vote away." What a pickle, huh? ;)
