It is interesting that political agenda fervently dismisses a remedy which numerous studies have already shown to be effective in many situations.
Why is it necessary to dismiss an effective remedy? Damaging Trump is more important than the people who could have been saved?

If Dr Birx or Dr Facui present the data, I'm all ears. WIshful aspirations by the POTUS are irrresponsible at best.
btw, I grateful that I stocked up zinc prior to his musing yesterday....our dog, whose liver is unable to process excess copper out of her body, relies on 250mg of zinc daily to aid in extracting copper. (Yea, I know, it's only a dog...but humans have this condition as well).

If you come up with evidence that there's an effective remedy, I promise not to dismiss it.
I spent this morning listening to a professor in (and former chair of) the Immunology and Infectious Disease Department of Harvard's School of Public Health(*) survey the evidence about COVID-19 and (hydroxy)chloroquine. She was simply incredulous that these drugs are being so widely used to treat this illness when there's virtually no evidence that they have any effect. That seems to be the opinion of virtually every infectious disease expert out there.
Why do you think you know more about this subject than all of these people who have devoted their lives to studying and fighting infectious disease?
