Yeah, I heard that this combo of hydroxochloroquine with zinc has saved people who were getting or were already critically ill from this virus and would of otherwise died without it. Just as it was touted by Pres. trump, it's very promising.
Maybe we don't need a vaccine and God is showing us all His signs. We didn't need a vaccine and cannot get one for any bacterial infections and malaria, which hydroxychloroquine was originally intended for. So, this pandemic can end without a vaccine.
If you have a heart arrhythmia, you can't use it.

Nonsense.

And vaccines are not money makers for big pharma. Big pharma wants diseases that require regular treatment, not a one off cure.
Which is why they are only partially effective. They maintain the look of caring, while still lining their pockets.

So this virus thing is not unfolding according to God's plan?

Or maybe He doesnt have a plan but is as curious as the rest of us to see how things go?
God only 'causes' these things by His absence. They are a deviation of His creation brought on by satan. He knows about them, and beforehand, but ever since Adam betrayed Him He's taken a mostly hands off approach with us. Adam chose to go his way instead of God's, and we've been suffering under that ever since.

There is no god to mock. If a conception of a god worthy of worship includes attributes that allows it to allow or cause such devastation then it is that conception I'm mocking.

Even if it was we who drew first blood?

Which is why my second act after getting to 'heaven' will be to kick Adam's butt! ;)

I find it immoral that someone would suffer - say a child being molested - because of something someone else did thousands of years ago.

I don’t know of anyone that I would call “good” who would accept this idea in any other situation other than pertaining to a god...

No. Not particularly. I thought about it for a few seconds and came to the conclusion it would take a book to define, explain, and clarify. A small feature: a god that would always prevent child rape would more worthy of worship than Yahweh.
I'd prefer one that didn't stand idly by while viruses kill thousands a day. You know, to pick something totally at random.

God only 'causes' these things by His absence.

Then He picked a lousy time to take a vacation.

They are a deviation of His creation brought on by satan.

...while God has been absent.

Never did get over it, did He?

Adam chose to go his way instead of God's, and we've been suffering under that ever since.

Any word on when God's going to lay off?

You have a point there, one I've often wondered about.

All valid points ... as to the last question, I don't think we have long to wait now.

You know, I wrestle with these questions too. But I've seen too much to deny His existence. I just have to live with the understanding that I see thru a glass darkly for the present. That's why I say the second thing I'm going to do in heaven is kick Adam's butt. The first thing I'm going to do is get these answers from the Big Man Himself.

For some 10 years a known treatment for coronaviruses has been available. The reason you see so much reporting on cloraquine is because it is a known binding agent for Zinc. In other words, it's not useful unless it's combined with Zinc. It is the Zinc that provides the defense - or it helps people's natural immune systems defend against the disease. But there are over the counter natural alternatives to chloraquine which can act in the same way and help your Zinc-deprived body metabolize the Zinc and make use of it. He's right, we don't need a vaccine in this case.

Would you like to describe a 'god' who would be worthy of worship?
One who could tolerate sin but would punish people who maliciously harm others. Have a perfect Heaven for the perfect, a quite good one for the sinners and boring one for the baddies he punishes.

I could get down with that kind of god.
