(snip)Thats why most people vote for him.
...if it was about who the "most people vote for" we'd be talking about how President Clinton was handling this pandemic, not President Trump. :sorry:

This is how we got chloroquine and it is kind of interesting:

quinine derived from cinchona bark was considered crucial to the military but the Japanese had over run the supply of bark in WWII. A massive operation took place to obtain bark from south america until chloroquine was invented which is the synthetic form of quinine

Cinchona Missions - Wikipedia

In 1944, quinine was successfully synthesized by American chemists Robert Burns Woodward and William von Eggers Doering. This, along with the recovery of Asian plantations and a healthy stockpile of antimalarial products in US control, led to the termination of the program. Overall, the US had imported approximately 40 million pounds of dry bark over the course of two years. The program ceased operations on November 30, 1945

This is purely political. Since Trump is always the bad guy it follows that anything he endorses is automatically bad. If he had said we should not use Chloroquinine there'd be all kinds of yelling about how he wants to kill everyone and he should let the doctors prescribe whatever they want. This has nothing to do with the drug. Pure politics.

It is unfortunate that the President has behaved his entire adult life in such a manner as to be so incredibly untrustworthy.

...but it does explain why he isn't considered a trustworthy source of information at this time. :wave:

That's such a true statement about those select few in the leftest camp...and while the rest of the world trusts the science behind HCQ+ as a very effective treatment...you can all opt to take a different one...there's lots to choose from.

It's unfortunate all of us have sinned and come short of God's glory...none are perfect...but we have the gift of salvation thanks to God's Son Jesus dying and suffering for our sin.

&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&

Maybe excessive coffee intake keeps us from keeping up with the latest news?

Millions of doses of this drug are being manufactured at this time to help in the fight against Coronavirus.

Are there any side effects to this drug? Name one drug that has none?

all drugs that work have side effects, but you offset the side effects by the disease, chemotherapy has a ton of side effects, but you compare it against cancer, but if we started prescribing chemotherapy for hiv or the flu, the side effects arn't worth it as it wouldn't help against the disease. PLUS and don't know enough to say it's this way here, there are drugs that have side effects, if the person doesn't have the disease the drug treats. Taking medicine when you don't need it isn't always a good thing.

No one is suggesting it be taken willy nilly...it's between you and your doctor...side effects...see Dr. Daniel Wallace.

Well evidently between us, our doctors and President Trump, because just suggesting the President pushing a drug every chance he gets is called "politicizing a pandemic" when all people are saying is we should wait to see what the experts say about something. No one (as far as I can see) is saying "Don't see if the drug can help because President Trump supports it!" what they are saying is "Using the covid-19 press conferences as an infomercial for a drug isn't a good thing.". :sigh:
