Not rejecting, just funding it lacking in useful communication.
Well, I’ll stick with useful definitions because your feelings aren’t trustworthy.

It’s only unjust if everyone deserves it and God holds back from some.
No, justice in the Kingdom of God is not what you think. It rejoices the heart and does not dull the mind. Those who embraced the theology you hold have to shut down a part of their thinking and the understanding of justice is one of them. God doesn’t think in terms of owing or deserving. There is an understanding of all matters concerned whereas “owing or deserving” are one dimensional. It’s more complex.

. Yes, I’m aware. It’s clear that you missed my point. Again, you posted a verse without context or explanation. And we are supposed to take it as is.

I said several times we are to post the whole truth, not just pick and choose as you did, especially when it is clear you are aware of the whole truth and know better than to pick and choose like that.

The whole truth includes other things that Christ said, and that puts in context what you claim has no context. Where is the scripture on getting the truth here and there in the bible? I'll try to find it if you are not aware of it.

My guess is that perhaps you’ve not read all I’ve written.

Exactly what I was thinking about all I wrote.

If you will only look at the very scripture I first posted here on doing good/evil, and add that to the scripture you insist means we just believe, you will get closer to the truth. It takes all Christ said, not just part of it.

And what about that BTW...the question about what believing opn Christ actually means, could you at least answer those?

You talk about posting the whole truth, and you’ve posted one verse. Okay.

Anyway, what exactly were your questions, and what scripture do they refer to?

Certain theological positions require a person to blind themselves to scriptures that establish the opposite of the preferred theology. Comfort is derived in preferring other men’s definition rather than God’s. So if God never expressed that view in the recorded interaction of God and man, they are not bothered. There are schools of theology that assure them that their position (which almost always assured them of something that has an emotional basis) is correct. What the living God actuallly thinks is not a question they consider.

Again, I can’t go by your feelings.
I haven’t actually reported any feelings. That’s just unjust and inaccurate words you chose to render my understanding less. I know with mental facilities what grace is. If one as never known the grace of God on one, then theology won’t substitute.

I KNOW what grace is my understanding (that’s the mind.) It’s an intellectual understanding that disagrees with your dry one
that you got by reading theology books o you have to attack me.

My so-called dry definition is the actual definition. They used specific words for a reason, and that wasn’t so we could interpret them with our feelings.

I’ve encountered this fruit of your theology before. It was at first remarkable then I noticed a pattern. They assure themselves of their theological correctness (which assured them of Heaven no matter how they behave) and woe to them who threaten that assurance.

Isn’t that what you are doing? You’ve treated me rudely throughout. You seem sure of your theological position.

And my assurance isn’t threatened because I trust what God says in His word.

I know what I know. What I don’t know is what you know. So I asked questions. If you want me to start assuming your understanding, that would most likely not end well. So instead of the vitriol, maybe we can just have a discussion.

i read all that, and don't just believe what I believe, look at the whole bible and see for yourself.

You talk about posting the whole truth, and you’ve posted one verse. Okay.

I didn't even post that one to purposely go with the one you quoted, it just so happened to fit. And you need to find those for yourself, and as I've said, I think you are aware of many verses that refute what you say, but you choose to forget them, and not use them along with.

Anyway, what exactly were your questions, and what scripture do they refer to?

Please don't do the exact things others do here, skip all the questions, then think that it's fair I go back, find them all and either point to or re-post them. They aren't all that hard to find, and I imagine they started pretty close to my first post here if that helps

I'm not even sure you answered one of them, but maybe, and you must know, each one you refuse to answer is a hole in what you are trying to teach here.

Most importantly, I personally would be asking myself WHY I can't answer them.

Good Day, Dorothy

you did not refer to Blessed are the Merciful... you have repeatedly quoted James

"“God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” That is NOT unmerited favor."

Just to point out:

The pronoun Them refers to the noun "disciples" who are believers.

Mat 5:1 Seeing the crowds, he went up on the mountain, and when he sat down, his disciples came to him. And he opened his mouth and taught them, saying:

Mat 5:3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Mat 5:4 “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.

Mat 5:5 “Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.

Mat 5:6 “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.

Mat 5:7 “Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.

Mat 5:8 “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.

Mat 5:9 “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.

Mat 5:10 “Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

In Him,
You probably don’t know it, but James was quoting Proverbs which is not limited to believers but how God is to all men. This describes how God is period. There’s no reference to God granting grace to believing humble but no grace to humble atheists (if there are any.)

Those who hold some theologies don’t ask WHY they can’t answer questions. They have their assurance and to question anything associated is to rock the boat. You never know what comforting untruth might fall out.

I remember you asking questions, but you kinda flipped out when I asked for qualifications of your post. But go ahead and ask yourself why you can’t answer them.
