If by connection you mean that 5G somehow caused the coronavirus that is bogus. The issue with 5G is some complain that it is unhealthy. There have been numerous examples and studies that would cause one to be concerned. The wave length from 5G causes oxygen molecules to become excited and there is a thought that this could exacerbate a problem with a disease like Covid19 which is making it hard for people to breath.
Here is the really big problem with something like 5G, it is estimated that they will invest $2.2 trillion in it by the end of this year. Now suppose that 1% of that money is to promote and sell it. And suppose those in marketing spend 10% of that money on research. That is $2 billion for research. If a $10,000 grant is enough to get a graduate student to do research on 5G this allows them to do 200,000 studies. An MIT study done a few years back showed that the majority of published scientific work was not replicable. Being replicable is a critical component in scientific research. What happens is this, a corporation funds a bunch of studies, say in this case, 200,000. Then they take 5% of the studies that are most favorable to them or show no ill effects. The other 95% never get published. That is still 10,000 studies. Now an independent researcher comes up with evidence of cancer, or damage to DNA or damage to mitochondria and they dismiss it as an outlier -- "We did 200,000 studies" (true), "we have published 10,000 studies that on the whole show no ill health effects" also true. The issue is that these studies are not replicable because they chose the 5% most advantageous for them.
This is the problem we have now, individual scientists are not able to replicate the "no ill effects" instead their studies are showing a variety of health effects, yet they are not considered significant because this corporate financing of research has 10,000 published studies.
