Just look at the stats, man.

You mean the stats that can be interpreted as him coasting along, riding a wave that started years before he tooks office? The stats that give him the two largest weeks of unemployment growth in history by a huge margin? The stats that have him on track to rack up waaaaay more debt than any other president? Those stats? Or are there some other stats in there that I’m missing?

I’ve been asking for actions and you want me to look at stats. Stats are caused by events. I’m asking you to explicitly point to a cause (or causes), not to point to the effect and then infer a cause based on nothing more than speculation.

If you want to stay in complete denial that he’s a great president, that’s up to you, and you have plenty of company there, but I’m not going to waste but so much time trying to help you.

Ah, that old gem. According to your profile, you’ve made some 14,600 posts since signing up here four years ago, or an average of about 10 posts/day. You can find the time to bicker back and forth with all these other guys about nothing, but I challenge you to have something resembling an honest, factual discussion and you run away, making excuses about how my obstinance isn’t worth th effort and how it’s actually my fault for being too blind to facilitate you supporting your own argument. What it is is a lazy cop out that demonstrates that you don’t understand the subject nearly as well as you think you do. But don’t feel too bad; you’re not the first TrumpFan who’s pulled this same excuse with me and I doubt you’ll be the last. But these repeated attempts to pull the wool over my eyes do nothing to dissuade me from the belief that the whole lot of you don’t really know what you’re talking about and are more brainwashed than informed. It’s sad. I really do try to assume that others have decent, rational reasons for believing what they believe, but when you all keep refusing to articulate those reasons, I can’t come to any other conclusion.

Well... except for the SALT credit cap and, for those who work from home, getting rid of the deduction for work expenses for employees.
Plus it isn't the bottom 20% of earners who are going to have to pay back the debt he's run up with his wacky economic policies.

I apologize if I wasn't clear about not wasting anymore time with anyone who I feel chooses not to see.

Oh, no, that was perfectly clear. My beef is with you (and others) writing me off as having chosen not to see when the truth is that you haven’t actually shown me anything. I’m like the kid watching the parade and you’re the naked emperor driving by, showing off your fancy new outfit that doesn’t exist.

You cannot be shown, now if you disagree with that, that is up to you, but it is my concrete stance.

Hope that helps

What does ANY of your interrogation have to do with Trump lying about releasing his tax records...??

So far I have ran into three people that care about Trump's tax return.

Interesting -- all on this site.

I guess nobody here should waste their time then talking to you about evolution as you obviously choose not to see.

How interesting.

And if it wasn't the tax return, it would be the the pimple under his nose.

 Oh, my! that wasn't a pimple after all! Is that an impeachable offense?

Kind of interesting actually.
Pointing out the little fly in Trump's soup.
Yet, they have not a viable candidate.

In case you've been in a different galaxy for the last month, America currently has over 360000 confirmed cases and 10000+ deaths all attributable to virus that this President dismissed as a hoax!
When and where?

The President stands condemned by his own words - every day more and more information is emerging that he and his Administration were being warned about the threat months ago,.

Secretary Azar had to wait 2 weeks before Trump would speak with him personally and even then the President primary concern was keeping flavored vaping available to the public!

Starting in early January, this President was also being informed through his daily intelligence briefings concerning the spread of COVID-19 and yet Trump chose to do nothing but DENY,DENY DENY!

While the President now attempts to shift the responsibility for being unprepared onto the governors, it was he and not them who was privy to all this incoming information and there are no indications that he ever passed it on!

Well, he does seem to have trouble understanding obvious things that are right under his nose.

That's an interesting argument. Add me, and you've got four. And I can take you to a discussion site that will add thousands of other people who care greatly, just at that one site.
It is a logical fallacy to state that just because you don't care about something and do not personally know anybody who does, such people do not exist.

Trump's tax returns have nothing to do with his ability to govern as president.

It's a relief that it is not necessary to know whether a candidate has been lying, cheating and stealing in a career of business dealings. Thanks so much.

Use your reasoning skills. If Trump has accomplished something positive, that is a reason to support him.
No, you take everything together. Weigh the positive and the negative.

And for me the negative outweigh the positive.

Not quite true. At best, the lack of transparency regarding his extensive business entanglements and financial incentives undermines the public trust in his decisions. His bogus excuses about why he hasn't released them, along with his history of self-dealing and other questionable behavior just further erode that trust.
