Because you are always asking people if they are born again I thought I would ask you too.Of course, why ask?

God actually blessed Esau, protected his descendants’ property. Until his descendants became evil.....many generations later.
So is His Godly Love a knee jerk reaction for God? Is it a logical result? Or is it the result of God's free will choice to Love? Once God makes the free will choice to Love (totally unselfishly, totally unconditionally, totally sacrificially and in all humility), how can He put limits on it?He acts according to His nature.
You already saidI will tell you what I will do for you.
If you can prove what you said is the truth
I will believe it.
So if you assume my thinking is wrong and cannot say where as I did for you, how can any words from my thinking convince you?My thinking is not wrong your thinking is wrong.
Because you are always asking people if they are born again I thought I would ask you too.
No, because he loves, he hates sin. Any parent who loves their child hates the deeds of those who hurt and damage their child.Yes, His love eclipses His hatred of sin otherwise no one would be saved.
He can see what we cannot see -- truly are unable to see, because we are not omniscient, knowing all thoughts in other peoples' hearts.Doesn’t answer the question.
I see it more like the prodigal son story: The son by his own bad choices is brought to his senses and can choose to be: Macho, hang in there, be willing to pay the piper, accept the punishment he fully deserves (dying in a pigsty) not bothering his father further with undeserving requests and not fuel his brother's contempt for him, or he can wimp out, give up and surrender to the one he has been hating, turn to his father in hopes of possible be granted totally undeserved mercy and have just some kind of life, so he is just willing to humbly accept pure charity. It’s not their choice to “accept” Gods forgiveness. He isn’t offering charity. But if you repent and ask for forgiveness, He might accept your repentance and grant you forgiveness. That’s how it works.
Then I guess I have on many a rare occasions seen you ask a poster if they are born again.Really - it is rare for me to ask that, unless the poster seems to be seeking from the heart, then I will summarise the gospel.
So God punishes then eternally for a bad decision. That doesn’t sound just.Drug addict’s desire is not to OD and die. Nevertheless they do. Lots of people don’t want the consequences of their choices. Doesn’t change the choices they do make.
I don’t use terms like “Godly type love”.That would make our "Love" greater than God's Love since we are told to Love everyone and thus can Love everyone. How are you defining Godly type Love we are to have and Christ demonstrated?
Is Godly type Love conditional or unconditional or arbitrary?
If God's Love is unconditional, then what reason could God have for not Loving everyone (is it limited or without limits)?
It’s for the punishment of sin.Esau I hated...
...because God hates sin.
Hell is for those who refuse love...
The “we” in there is referring to those whom He saves. While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us...
Who determines what is just or unjust but God?So God punishes then eternally for a bad decision. That doesn’t sound just.
We don’t become righteous. It depends on what is the reason. Bible tells eternal life is for righteous and for others is death.
These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.
Mat. 25:46
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 6:23
If 10 people sin, and only five is punished, I have understood it is because the other five repented and became righteous and the other five didn’t. And then it is actually not injustice.
I don’t know what “Godly love” is.So is His Godly Love a knee jerk reaction for God? Is it a logical result? Or is it the result of God's free will choice to Love? Once God makes the free will choice to Love (totally unselfishly, totally unconditionally, totally sacrificially and in all humility), how can He put limits on it?
Do all the people who know you say this describes you?
