One thing > Jesus is God's own Son . . . not only a human who got killed for trying to get people to accept His ideas.
But Jesus was in Heaven before He came here. He is so superior, so better than humans; yet Jesus is not at all conceited, I now can see, if He came here to reach us and share with us, even sharing in how humans can suffer and be rejected.
Plus, of course, there is nothing wrong with Jesus, to be reason to reject Him. But we humans have been the wrong ones; yet, Jesus did not just say oh you deserve what you get, for what you have gotten your own selves into, but He went through that suffering and death . . . for us. We needed Him to do that.
So, Jesus is my example of not being conceited, and of having hope for any and all people > even the most evil of people > Jesus on the cross suffered and died with hope for any and all people. Plus, He is our example . . . of how to love, anyway, even if we don't suffer like He did >
"And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma." (Ephesians 5:2)
But I have been one to try to get status for being with Jesus; meanwhile, I could welcome an opportunity to look down on wrong people. So, I have been one to have a conceit problem. And Jesus on the cross has helped me to get into having compassion, instead.
