I realized that the 6 foot rule only works if there are literally 2 people in the store. But even if 1 more person comes in, they could very well walk in between that 6 foot stretch. My niece, who is a registered nurse, told me that the virus particles can hang in the air for hours after they're breathed out; so, when people are stringently observing that "six foot separation" rule, when the guy ahead of you in the store, who may be carrying the virus, steps forward in line, you go forward to the little "X" he was standing on---and guess what? You're standing in a cloud of virus-laden moisture that's just hanging there in the air. So what good does the "six foot rule" do you when you're in line in the grocery store? Not much.
Well it can be a homemade mask or even a scarf. I noticed a lot of people are starting to look like bandits now. LolLuckily I have some masks now, and more are on the way, but I find it frustrating how they tell us to wear a mask when there's such a profound shortage of them.
