Whatever, so, if you need it rephrased:
When Scripture says "cannot", does it mean absolute inability like "a triangle cannot have more than 3 angles"
Or just a rhetorical inability like to say "Bob is a liar, so I cannot trust him"?
I'm gonna jump in here, OK, got nothing better to do right now anyway...
I would take it to mean that those who are only following after, and are only ever pursuing, or are only ever desiring to fulfill only the lusts of the flesh ever, and only what that tells or dictates to them only ever, and are not having nor are pursuing nor are seeking after any of the desires of the Spirit at all ever, anyway, those doing that, 100% cannot please God ever, while they are still staying stuck in only just that ever, etc, cannot please God ever, etc.
I would not take it to mean that a person "in process" can't ever please God ever though, or none of us can please God while still in the flesh ever, etc, cause we're all "in process" still and still sin some still, and never do not 100% ever not sin anymore ever at all ever, this side of life ever, etc, anyway, I do not think it can possibly mean, nor should ever be twisted into meaning or saying ever, that any person who ever sins at all anymore ever cannot ever please God ever, etc, or none of us ever can or will or do ever, etc, so I do not think it can ever possibly ever mean that, and I don't think anyone should ever try and twist it into meaning or saying that ever either, ever, etc, or else we're all screwed, and not one single one of us can ever please God ever, etc...
Anyway,
God Bless!
