Why did God make it so that the sins of one could negatively impact another?

“And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.” John 3:19 (KJV 1900)

“"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil. For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. But he who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God."”
‭‭John‬ ‭3:16-21‬ ‭NASB‬‬

The context of the verse you quoted it is the individual who decides whether or not to accept God’s grace. God’s grace is available to the world not limited to certain individuals. If grace were limited only to chosen individuals then how could men be justly judged for not believing?

I'll ask a question for discussion:

Why did God create a world (or put in place the processes that would create a world) in which the sins of one individual could negatively impact another through no fault of their own?

EDIT: Imagine a hypothetical world in which every action or inaction has a positive or negative consequence, but negative consequences only ever affect the sinning individual never innocent targets or bystanders. This would be a more just world than our current one and if I can imagine it, then I am sure God could too and could make it if He wanted - so why didn't He?
Simply.... Sin is anything against God. So, His will isn't for this situation.

Sin is not created by God and the natural effect of sin is negative to the one committing it and those around them.

I understand why your question can be asked. However, the blame is put on God when it should not be.

This makes your question incorrect. It's like asking "why did God make 2 + 2 = 5 the wrong answer"?

When God created World it was perfect. Adam and Eve lived a happy life in the garden of Eden. It was perfect, no pain, no suffering, Adam and Eve didn't know evil. God even made them rulers over animals and plants. But Adam and Eve traded a perfection for a lie, they believed the devil and ate from the tree God forbid them to eat from. Because God is God and we are his creation He created us to perfectly obey Him yet we as humanity wanted more. We wanted to play Gods be in control tell what is wrong and what is right. We are not God. This sin had a chain reaction in God if you will and because God is righteous He had to punsih the sin.

See Adam ruined everything and since his fall we are all born in sin. And we all continue to sin because we love sin more than God. And God knew where the fall of Adam of Eve would take us what consequences it would have (just look at the world. Murders, rapes, cheaters, divorces, drugs, alcohol, wars, domestic violence etc etc). God could have wiped us out ( if you create an object and it doesn't do it's job don't you get rid of it) and He had every right to do so. Yet He loves us more than our sin so Jesus came down to Earth to take our punishment and to die for our sins so whosoever believes in Him will be forgiven and have an everlasting life.

When we fell as a humanity God purposely made life an unhappy business. He did that in order to turn our hearts towards Him. He wants us to depend on Him with everything because He is our God, He will carry us because He knows everything He knows right from wrong He knows every consequence of our action. We are just a mist that will go away He will not. God is the solid one. You see the consequence of our sin is death. So yes all those bad things that happen in the world right now is because we deserve them. Why should anything good happen to us? Because we constantly disobey and hurt God? The only reason good thinga happen to us because God is merciful?

I know this will be difficult to comprehend but we are all sinners. We are all bad we all deserve hell. Only God is good because he knows no sin. This virus is a call from God to repent our sins and turn to Him. Because if bad things like this wouldn't happen no one would repent and we would all go to hell. Therefore it's better if we suffer (and we don't deserve anything else) in this life and turn ourself to God rathen that forever suffer in hell as our punishment for sin.

The World was created in faith and through faith. Corruption entered in through a distrust/unfaith of God.

To your point of why God would create a world that was corruptible, I believe He wanted to show the outcome of unfaith in a temporal setting. And in the midst of this inevitable spiral towards death, God wanted to display the extent of His pure and Eternal Love through His Own Self sacrifice by sending the Christ to save the world. Or in other words to silence the thought of any unfaith in His Holy Character forever.

Read it as a first-century Jew would. Salvation was only for the Jews. But after Christ came, it went to the whole world fulfilling the promise to Abraham.

God created the best possible world. It was required for every detail to be there or else it would not be the best possible world.

Sin is what negatively affects another.

Love is only possible when there is freedom. (Freedom to love)

Freedom allows doing good or evil.

There is no other possible way.

God didn't want puppets or robots. So we have freedom, and are thus capable of love.

The best, perfect love, is that kind that comes from God, and which we are to emulate, from His help.

Mcarans,

We keep on thinking: “There must be a better way” then the way God has arranged things to be.

I promise you if there was a better way God would have set it up to be that way.

We all think: If I and others were just in a “Garden” type situation without: pain, hurting people, death, tragedies, limited resources and could be with God in the evening each day everything would be wonderful. The problem is the “Garden” type situation is an impossible situation for fulfill our objective on earth.

You have to keep in mind our objective and the fact God is doing and allowing everything that did, is and will happen to help willing individuals in fulfilling their earthly objective.

This messed up world is actually the very best situation for willing individuals to fulfill their earthly objectives. I taught a black young man who dropped out of school, been living on the street since he was 12 and lived in a rat hole of a place. He wanted to know about Christianity, finished high school, went to college on a basket ball scholarship and became a preacher. I taught Bible in the prison program to guys repeatedly beaten threatened, abused in every way, but became excellent Christian one went on the get a PhD in theology and an excellent missionary in Africa. I am teach several University student from Communist China right now, who did not even know a Christian or anything but lies about Christians, with Party officers for parents, just purchased a Bible this last fall and are already feeling the need to go back to Beijing to preach the truth (they scare me). They tell me; their friends and family have been programmed by propaganda.

The “idle” situation may not be a “Christian” community of uncommitted “Christians”?

God gave control of the earth to Adam. Adam handed his control to Satan. Adam disobeyed God in the process and so died spiritually. Every negative consequence can be traced back to that one act of disobedience. .
Quit blaming Adam and Eve. If you have to blame someone blame me, I have to have all these tragedies around me to get up and start doing something.

I really can't practically imagine a world where actions don't have consequences on the world around them. It's just simple logic of a world where people's lives are connected. Besides, God wants people to have the choice to follow Him so, barring big moment in salvation history, He can't work too obviously in the world.

Are you aware that the Greek word translated to cometh in that verse is only used in the present and imperfect tense? So according to the Greek definition it’s saying he who continues to come to Me I will certainly not cast out. Now if you view that verse as saying that no one can come to Christ unless the Father has granted it and those who come He will certainly not cast out then how does that line up with John 15:2 or John 15:6?

The Father cuts off every branch in Me that beareth not fruit. Or Anyone who does not abide in Me is cast away to wither and cast into the fire to be burned. So how could these people who are in Christ be in Him unless the Father has granted it to them and how could they be cut off and cast away to wither & be burned?

You are saying obedience is a condition of salvation instead of a trait of salvation. = salvation by works.

I believe the reason is that people wanted to know evil. That is basically the reason why they were expelled from place that had no evil, to this place where we can learn to know what good and evil truly means. Luckily this is only a short lesson and nothing of this world can destroy soul, therefore I think people should not worry.

how does obedience being a condition of salvation result in salvation by works? Would our works of obedience result in salvation without Christ’s atonement? No of course not. Without Christ’s sacrifice there could be no salvation because the wages of sin is death not works. People read portions of scripture like Romans 4 and Galatians 3 and see that we are justified by faith and the doctrine of eternal security adds to this by implying that once a person is justified they can never lose their salvation. But nowhere in the scriptures does it say that once a person is justified (made right with God) that he can never be made wrong with God. Like I said before how does John 15:2 and 15:6 hold up to the doctrines of eternal security and faith alone? Remember what Paul wrote to the Corinthians If I have all faith so as to move mountains but I have not love I am nothing. 1 Corinthians 13:2.

@mcarans Let the negativity impact me, I needed to face and fight this war to see and realize my own sinful inherent nature. Otherwise, I will be fooling myself thinking and believing that I'm just a innocent bystander. The harsh the negativity, the brighter I shall shine.

Free will can only apply to the law. The Law cannot save. But you turn the gospel into law and grace into works by assuming it exists where it does not.

The blessing is to believe in the One by Whose obedience many should be reckoned just before God, even as in unbelief people inherit sin:

"For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous." (Romans 5.19).

How can free will only apply to the law? Free will is completely irrelevant to salvation. Both the saved and the condemned have free will. You still keep dodging my question about John 15:2 and John 15:6. How can the statements in these verses be true if predestination is correct? I have a whole list of problems predestination brings about but I’ll keep it to just these two for now so as to not bombard you with too many questions at once.
