This is a mere tweet, and we all know what happened last time someone took a mere tweet seriously.
I highly doubt Twitter is maliciously targeting Catholics. In fact our church's livestream has worked exceptionally well, and I know many priests who are not having any problems with it. That surprises me, not because I am Catholic, but because the number of churches livestreaming high quality video on Sunday morning has increased drastically over the last few weeks. That puts enormous strain on the internet infrastructure, leading to things like the EU asking Netflix and YouTube to throttle bandwidth and downgrade video quality. Facebook may be following suit, and it's unlikely that Facebook is even designed to handle large scale video hosting in the way that YouTube is.
