Which certainly makes the claim that his motivation is to get rich from being president look ridiculous and/or amateurish.
Tom 1, it was a joke. I was writing what I thought a vain American might think. My apologies.Jealousy is a form of racism?
I suppose it could be true that some people living in very difficult circumstances might be envious of life in the west, although that is not always an accurate assumption. Do you actually believe that people are jealous of US citizens though? That doesn’t really represent an accurate view of the world.
You're responding to a post that was meant as a joke. My apologies.I hardly think a country known for genocide, slavery, drugs, guns and regime change is particularly inspirational.
I wouldn't buy that he became President strictly for the salary. That said, he can certainly use his position to influence his wealth and his interests in other respects: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tax_Cuts_and_Jobs_Act_of_2017
What claims have been fabricated? He may not have willfully cooperated with the Russians, but there is little doubt that he is an egomaniacal idiot, racist, and sexist. Just look at the quote in the OP. That alone is very strong evidence for two of my claims. That's not true. My point, every time that this issue is raised by people who want to smear Trump, is that there is no comparison between the nonstop, vicious, mainly fabricated claims that have been made against the President...and the very limited responses that have been made in reply.
Of course, that is never acknowledged, and so we instead keep reading hundreds of posts saying that he is a Russian agent, an idiot, a racist, and just about anything else that can be thrown at him, whether or not there is even a shred of plausibility attached to them.

Really? Why? I see that you could not back up any of your claims. I can support mine. What claims did you not understand?ROFLOL. (I don't get to use that one very often, but this qualifies.)
Seriously? All this because the man wasn't sure what to call the virus?
What in the world would the masses of insecure people do if they didn't have stupid people to make them feel smart, people like myself who wasn't sure what to call the virus either..
Smart fellers you are.

Yes, Trump won the election. That's not the point.
The point was that the majority of people didn't elect him, contrary to your own claim.
Or, he cares more about oxygen than his cuff links.
Or, he cares more about Verdi Operas than tapioca.
"Nothing" was right.
It is a tragedy that Trump won the election due to the fact that we rely on an outmoded method of choosing a President, but the election itself is not the point. That is the point exactly.
Did anyone say that? Pointing that the electoral college does not do what is claimed by Trump supporters is not calling the election bogus. I see quite a few strawman arguments coming from the Trump camp. That is an indication that they cannot support their claims. It's always strange when we read someone saying that the election was bogus when it followed the Constitution to the letter.
If winning in the way that is specified and has always been followed is controversial, what election (not just the Presidential election) wouldn't be subject to a similar complaint by people thinking that they know a "better way" to have done it?
This is just unsupported rhetoric that doesn't actually address anything I posted.
