Jealousy is a form of racism?

I suppose it could be true that some people living in very difficult circumstances might be envious of life in the west, although that is not always an accurate assumption. Do you actually believe that people are jealous of US citizens though? That doesn’t really represent an accurate view of the world.
Tom 1, it was a joke. I was writing what I thought a vain American might think. My apologies.

I hardly think a country known for genocide, slavery, drugs, guns and regime change is particularly inspirational.
You're responding to a post that was meant as a joke. My apologies.

That's not true. My point, every time that this issue is raised by people who want to smear Trump, is that there is no comparison between the nonstop, vicious, mainly fabricated claims that have been made against the President...and the very limited responses that have been made in reply.

Of course, that is never acknowledged, and so we instead keep reading hundreds of posts saying that he is a Russian agent, an idiot, a racist, and just about anything else that can be thrown at him, whether or not there is even a shred of plausibility attached to them.
What claims have been fabricated? He may not have willfully cooperated with the Russians, but there is little doubt that he is an egomaniacal idiot, racist, and sexist. Just look at the quote in the OP. That alone is very strong evidence for two of my claims.

ROFLOL. (I don't get to use that one very often, but this qualifies.)

Seriously? All this because the man wasn't sure what to call the virus?

What in the world would the masses of insecure people do if they didn't have stupid people to make them feel smart, people like myself who wasn't sure what to call the virus either..

Smart fellers you are. ;)

No, because he foolishly claimed that others do not know what a virus is. The poor fool has experts to help him understand and he still has no clue.

I hardly think a country known for genocide, slavery, drugs, guns and regime change is particularly inspirational.

I am appalled that those evil American Colonials have not been held to accountability for the atrocities they committed agents the Bore people by pudding them in concentration camps. These crimes were so bad that the Nazi’s even made movies about President Victoria’s regime.

President Churchill caused several famines in India but they were justified by this quote from President Churchill “I hate Indians. They are a beastly people with a beastly religion. The famine was their own fault for breeding like rabbits.”

And how those dastardly evil American Colonials forced peaceful and Righteous England to transport slaves against the will, of both the slaves and the King, to the colonies to work those evil plantation to boost the glory and power of the American Empire and the expense of the poor United Kingdom.

The American Empires exportation of opium to China was reprehensible and the American East India Company should have been held accountable.

And how those tricky Americans forced the peaceful British people to become the main arms supplier to the world during the 1700s, 1800, and early 1900s. Why even today you can find rifles made over 150 years ago at the Tower of London in the hands of peaceful Afghan people. Don’t even get me started on all the wars that those colonials fought against the Afghans in the 1800s. The American poet Rudyard Kipling documented that well enough.

And we are all still feeling the effects of American Petroleum’s overthrow of the legitimate rules of Iran and re installing a Shah.

It must be blissful to believe that a tiny island has done nothing to cause pain in the world. Pot, meet kettle.

Or, he cares more about oxygen than his cuff links.

Or, he cares more about Verdi Operas than tapioca.

"Nothing" was right.

As ridiculous as these type threads are in general, it's hard to miss their entertainment value.

It's always strange when we read someone saying that the election was bogus when it followed the Constitution to the letter.

If winning in the way that is specified and has always been followed is controversial, what election (not just the Presidential election) wouldn't be subject to a similar complaint by people thinking that they know the way it should have been conducted instead of how it was conducted?

Did anyone say that? Pointing that the electoral college does not do what is claimed by Trump supporters is not calling the election bogus. I see quite a few strawman arguments coming from the Trump camp. That is an indication that they cannot support their claims.

This is just unsupported rhetoric that doesn't actually address anything I posted.

So it's come down to that now, instead of a reply to something absolutely is relevant, you find a way to brush it of as nothing to reply to. That's a a new twist on the cop out.

It is a tragedy that Trump won the election due to the fact that we rely on an outmoded method of choosing a President, but the election itself is not the point.
Apparently, it IS the point--with you. ;)
