So Prince Charles (The next in line for those who are uneducated with the British Royal Family) was tested for the corona virus on Monday and on Tuesday was found to have the virus. England is in a panic right now because, he could have potentially exposed her majesty Queen Elizabeth II as well when they have a meeting last week. As she is now 93 years old and is HIGHLY susceptible to catch the virus and die from it due to her extremely old age.

Despite her being a God obeying and fantastic Queen I'm a little worried that she will catch the virus and pass away. She has been my Queen my entire life, the entirety of my Father's life and almost the entirety of my grandfather's life (He and my grandmother passed away at the age of almost 90, she was 87 or 88 when she passed I forget). They were born in the 20's and Elizabeth was Coronated in 1953 after her Father died (The current King George VI) the year previously. So they saw Elizabeth as Queen ever since they were in their late 20's/early 30's and would be deeply sad and upset if they were still alive.

We were all Canadians and I still consider myself Canadian because God brought me into this world Canadian and just because I was forced to move countries doesn't mean that I should automatically lose my Canadian Identity. Despite not being considered a dual Citizen here in America, I am one. I'm just a legal American on paper and I refuse to be loyal to the president when all of them since I've been born have screwed up massively and even committed perjury and infidelity. Aside from Charles, when have you seen her majesty commit perjury? That's right, I thought so.

When I was a kid I loved Prince Charles and Queen Elizabeth. They were all my school talked about and now almost 30 years later they could be gone and William could be king.

I expected William to be my king at some point in my life? But, not this soon. I wanted to live to see the entirety of the royal line reign and I was curious what Charles was going to do as king. He could have made some massive improvements to the church for example.

Anyway, enough blabbing about the story, here's one of the links to it:

What will this mean for the royal family?

I know what half of you are thinking, why should we care about the British Royal family when most of us are Americans and have seceded from the royal family? I don't know. If Americans want to think that way I just think it's horrible. We should all be educated on the going on's of ANY royal family
Besides, do we really want to keep hearing news about how much of a liar and blasphemer trump is?

But seriously how can the Royal Family survive such an outbreak? It's effecting even the Royal Family! May God protect them in this huge and massive crisis!

Our Queen isn't going anywhere yet - believe me, she's nowhere near as frail as she looks. Plus, her eyes are set firmly upon the Platinum Jubilee. And she'll get there.

Charles will be alright too. They'll get the absolute best care, round the clock if the worst comes to it. I'm not worried, our Royals are built of tough stuff.

So Prince Charles (The next in line for those who are uneducated with the British Royal Family)

It is clear now that standing in line is very dangerous. Stop standing in line and stand alone at home.

Charles might be in his 70s but I think he is pretty robust, and he seems to only have mild symptoms. No indication yet that the queen is infected, if she was exposed the incubation period seems to have passed without any sign, so she probably isn’t. Personally I can’t really see Charles as king, but it would be terribly sad to see the queen go out in such an undignified way. Hopefully she’ll come through this with many others of longer years and continue to reign.

When I was a student, I was with a small group, and we met and chatted with Prince Charles on a visit to the town. On another occasion, he was going to a function at a cathedral and he came out of a car and waved at me and friend across the road.

I personally love our Royal Family, especially the Queen and Charles. They are very gracious and well mannered whenever they meet people and put them at ease. I love their very sharp sense of humour and the way their cultured speech shows good elocution and conveys authority. They are also very hardworking and put a lot of time into very worthwhile causes.

Well we've had it if it rips through them all till it gets to Andrew and leaves him alive

He's being quarantined in his house in Scotland right now so I doubt it would infect the rest of the family. He could have come in contact with them though only time will tell. Andrew is suspectible to the virus but isn't he way far down the line? Especially when William has 2 male children and a daughter now who are ahead of his brother even now? (Sorry I forget his name. Harry I think?) Now if they got the virus they would be screwed because they're just Children and Prince Louis is just a baby. But mostly They're just worried about the Queen at the moment because he visited her last week and could have potentially had the virus then. If she got the virus she wouldn't stand a chance because she's almost in her mid 90's.

Two.

I'm routing for her, because the celebration will honestly be enormous. No one will ever be able to match it.

She's reigned the longest out of any other monarch, ever. I'm rooting for her and Bob Barker to see their hundreth birthday. (Btw have you seen barker lately? He looks horrible. He almost looks like my grandfather did before he died (He was 89 when he died).

All I can say is God is with her I guess. He will protect her and keep her on the throne for as long as he wants her to be on there for. She's stated multiple times before that she's looking massively forward to seeing her father again. I want that for her.

It was a joke :sigh:

Excuse me? It isn't a joke. He DOES have the virus and is being quarantined far away at the moment so that he doesn't infect the rest of the royal family. Because if the royal family dies from the corona virus England is in HUGE trouble.

It isn't just CBS news that reported this news. All of the news (Even the royal family's website) have reported the news. It's "old" news now but, it's true.

I really miss Diana too. Her death was just so tragic. She died when I was about 9 years old but whenever I saw her on TV making an address she was always so kind hearted. Question, are you old enough to remember King Charles VI? I've always wondered what he was like. He apparently was just as kind and God fearing as Elizabeth. Apparently his brother who abdicated the throne wasn't such a nice person though. At least, that's how history books tell the story about he and his mistress (Don't mean to offend you if I'm offending please tell me.).

Did you mean George VI? That was a bit before my time - I'm a seventies boy! :)

This virus isn't a death sentence for elderly people. Though we've all seen the statistics showing that it is fatal for 15-20% of folks over 80 years the reality is that it's FAR lower when you take into the account the lack of testing, (which alone could knock that number down to a 1 or 2% fatality rate in vulnerable age demographics) and then on top of that, the fact that many health systems require COVID-19 be recorded on the death certificate if the deceased tested positive even if there are other more probable causes of death. This is one reason for the huge descrepancy in fatality rates between different countries.
